Songs that make you bounce round the room

Right, as antidote to crying ones, which ones make you bounce round like an idiot and pretend you're in a band? Current one is 'Dreaming of You' by the Coral. I'll come back with some more later.

But what about everyone else? And please tell me I'm not the only one who pretends I'm on stage when I'm alone in the house!

There's so many, agree with It Hot in Here, can even manage to dance to that in the car, much to DH's horror!

Bohemian Rhapsoday - Queen

Get the Party Started - Pink

Rock DJ & Let me Entertain You - Robbie Williams

I'm sure there are more but my CD collection is now all packed up for our move.

Let me take you to a place,
Where membership's a smiling face,
Brush shoulders with the stars.
Let me take you by the hand and welcome you to wonderland
From beneath a panama...

SoupDragon · 09/10/2002 16:35

Oooh, Marina, another Blow Monkeys fan! And I love H!& too, but am too screachy to do the Karon Kenyon bit , I have to be Glenn Gregory!! I like Come Live With Me too but you don't exactly fling around to that.

And I forgot Dancing in the Moonlight by Toploader!!!

ionesmum · 09/10/2002 22:01

Sorry, that should be H17. I left my caps lock on.

Clarinet60 · 09/10/2002 22:13

Tissy, how about Bruce Springsteens' The wild, the innocent and the E Street band?

WideWebWitch · 09/10/2002 22:23

Ooooh, agree with Love shack and Blur's Song 2 (a ds favourite), Believe by Cher, Praise you, and that one about the sky is torn by Natalie Imbruglia, Abba's Dancing Queen, Wonderwall, It's Raining Men (Weathergirls version). Dp made me an amazing compliation cd with some of these on recently, it's great. Also included Blondie, Call me and other 80s feel good tracks. Remember dancing to that Ring My Beeeeeeeeeeell, ring my bell song, aaahhh! great happy memories thread compared to the songs that make you cry thread which made me weepy just reading it!

Rosy · 09/10/2002 22:38

"My Heart Belongs to Daddy" as played by Oscar Peterson. And almost anything by Count Basie. Somebody pls tell me they know who I'm talking about!

Also second "Start me up" by the Rolling Stones - it was one of those Side 1, Track 1 songs that me & dh used to listen to when we were young and in love. Ah, happy memories....
