Anyone else's teenager applied for a provisional driving licence weeks & weeks ago and still waiting?

Online application on 28 April. DVLA took our money and said a paper form would be sent out to validate identity. Received this and returned this and nothing since. It's been 8 weeks and counting. You can't speak to them on the phone, Live chat is not live, it's a bot giving a standard response, and emails just receive another standard response. Arghhh!

Anyone else in this position?

I see you’ve had yours returned no but it was on the news yesterday that there is a massive backlog due to isolating staff and other reasons

At last it came today. 10 weeks wait in total.
