Off to shovel DS into bed - I may well follow him tbh. Just had snow lashing against the windows - not the sort of description I usually associate with snow but this is snow that wants to be hail as far as I can tell... Oh arse. And I have to pop out to next door.

We have been very lucky here and only have a tiny bit more snow. Very sunny but I suspect it is very jolly cold.

Afternoon. It's like April showers out there, but with snow. It's soooooo cold.

Went to the hospital this morning for a follow-up to my interesting evening/night the other week. All seems to be okay but I could go into AF again at any time apparently or on the other hand it might never happen again. I have another echocardiogram in a fortnight.

We had quite a bit more snow here but thankfully nothing too bad.

Don’t know whether I’ll be watching Shetland tonight. Depends what time DH is home. Need him to be out late so I can watch in peace and don’t get loads of “so who’s that then” “why’s she doing that” etc. Think he’ll be home just as it starts though.

Actually I was out too for most of the day. And bloody freezing it was too. I had... 6 layers on including my coat. Then we played 'compare the coats'. I thought I was doing well with 'House of Fraser' (via charity shop) but I got soundly beaten by 'Harrods' (via hand-me down from the wearer's father).

Also, we got snowploughed We never get snowploughed. We haven't been snowploughed in 40 years of living down this dead-end road in the utter sticks. But today we had a tractor come down with a snowplough .
Admittedly it gave up and didn't reach the end of the road because trees/hedge banks/narrow etc. But it's shovelled up all the snow... and left huge frozen chunks of mud and snow in front of everyone's driveways

apricot that's a bit unnerving really. But I suppose at least they don't think anything's actually wrong. I think? I never like it when the find no cause for weird stuff - at least if there's a cause you know what's going on. That may just be me being a control freak.

Tonight I plan to watch the inside of my eyelids....

It's chaos in several parts of Sweden with lots of car accidents etc. But where I live it's been sunny today.

Had an epically shit evening with DS2. Started off well, he was being super and I told him he was being lovely. Spilled his drink on the settee but it was an accident so all okay and I got it cleaned up and told him nothing to worry about. Started his reading homework. Going okay. He had a bit of a break and then it all went to shite. No idea why. Eventually made friends and he went to sleep. But hey it’s okay because DH is home now and has explained how I’ve cleaned the settee in the wrong way. Should have just used water apparently. He’ll be telling me where I went wrong with DS2 next. That may push me over the edge.

Good plan LetUs though we don't have any new snow here (phew) just bloodying arctic cold and wind.

The living room was 13 degrees when I came down this morning, and I had to bring in the chickens' water and stick the whole thing in a sink of hot water to thaw it out. That was the water from inside their coop. The one outside is bulging with ice and frozen solid to the breezeblock that it sits on, so it's going to stay there now as an art installation until June it thaws out a bit.
