Why though? Why would you stop? Grin I’m still not feeling fully better as far as my appetite’s concerned. Couldn’t resist a Creme Egg though

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 31/03/2018 20:24

Stupid Death is fantastic Grin MrH and DS also agree.

wicked - get 90% cocoa chocolate. I guarantee that will stop you stuffing your face Grin You end up eating small bits, in moderation - between stuffing your face on 60% cocoa Grin

Shock at new WHITE bedding. Nope - far too impractical. Looks lovely, but I'd be terrified of something getting split on it.

Flowers for Fancy since the garden centre wasn't very inspiring

[strike] for *apricot

I dug up the rest of the bed with the bindweed in. DS decided to help too - and broke a fork We will have to do more work on the physics of levers and stress. So now we need a new fork handle though what else is the Easter weekend for if not going out to buy more garden tools. Hmm

It's winter soldier tomorrow 😁
Totally impractical Helen I agree...but im done having "sensible" and "practical" bed linen that can be washed at 90 degrees!
I'm having a bloody boudoir I tell you!
😁

LetUsPrey · 31/03/2018 20:49

Ah the Fork Handles sketch Grin. You be bloody careful you don’t do yourself any permanent damage Helen

Watching yet more HH. They’ve just done some real Victorian names. The teacher was called Miss Farting Clack GrinGrin

Am recording tonight’s showing of Hamlet starring Andrew Scott. I’m sure I’ll find a spare few hours to watch it in peace.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 31/03/2018 22:27

Had Hamlet on for a few minutes but - my brain!!!!! It hurtses..... Sad Coming into it over an hour into the play probably wasn't the best way to start. I turned it all off and have blissful peace and quiet now. Not even the cat is snoring, though the laptop fan is churning away...

I think the fork might be fixable, if we can drill out the handle and reattach the remaining shaft then we can make a DS-sized fork. I may not need a fork handle after all Grin

Anyway. I'm tired. Hayloft time...

Evening. Glad you appreciate my decorating skills letus I shall do some more Grin

Welcome back apricot - have some Wine to warm you up, and pass some ww to distract her from teh chocolate Grin

Ah Stupid Deaths....that was always my favourite bit too, especially the song

'Peak bedtime' - love that phrase - shower, clean pjs, clean sheets is mine. Or an HBF and a bed.

LetUsPrey · 31/03/2018 22:55

Someone I work with had tickets for that production of Hamlet. Took his teen daughter to see it. They met Andrew Scott afterwards, had a chat and he signed their programme. Said he was super lovely. I was EnvyEnvyEnvy

Night Helen

DH is listening to the boxing

Let me help with the decorating Fancy. I’m off to the snowbound cabin in Utah with Brandon

Speaking of theatre - saw Juliet Stevenson outside teh stage door last night. Not outside the stage door of the theatre we'd been to mind. We were just walking past on the way to a bar Grin

LetUsPrey · 31/03/2018 23:30

I now have the most excellent picture of you strolling towards the bar Fancy, spotting Juliet Stevenson, giving each other a nod and saying “evenin’” Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/04/2018 07:57

fancy - friend to the stars Grin
What did you go to see, btw?

Today we are cooking lunch for 10 Shock Confused therefore I am about to start feeling potatos.

PEELING, FFS, I'm peeling the spuds. Obvs I will also have to feel them as a by-product of peeling them, but you can scrub any mental images of me standing at the sink groping spuds with wistful look on my face. Unless you have some wierd potato fixation, in which case fill your boots. Hmm.

Morning wenches.

GrinGrin Helen

Am roaring at feeling the spuds! Oh King Edward you’re so spudly!

And at that pic. My mother would say that yes, that is what my second daughter is doing Grin

Plan today is showering, washing, visiting, tv. All the usual thrills and spills but with added chocolate.

mrsreynolds · 01/04/2018 10:26

Lindor for breakfast.
Excellent.
I shall now always picture you stood at the sink getting your rocks off by fondling spuds helen 😅😅😅😅
We are off to pils for dinner later....I'm taking (shop bought) cake.
Winter soldier later 🙌
Ds1 has just had his usual Sunday breakfast of 16 pancakes 😦
I think we are finished painting now. Just one wall to paper tomorrow.

mrsreynolds · 01/04/2018 12:20

New curtains up!
Yay!!
They look great

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 01/04/2018 16:19

Grin at "feeling the spuds".

Actually I think it's the law or something to stuff your face during easter Easter Grin

Watched the first ep of "The Miniaturist", bit creepy, I think Romola Garai as the sister is great, so different from other parts I've seen her in. Bit distracting with the young wife's boobage, can't stop staring, or maybe that's just me? Very surprising ending to the first ep Easter Shock

ApricotCrush · 01/04/2018 18:28

Evening. Hope everyone's had a good Easter Sunday.

Also Easter Grin at feeling the spuds.

Well done with the decorating and new curtains Bads.

We watched The Miniaturist, it is creepy but interesting.

Think we'll give the new Agatha Christie thing a go tonight.

LetUsPrey · 01/04/2018 18:44

I’m always impressed by how quickly the decorating is done at yours Badderz and you find things you like. We did DS1’s room about two years ago and he’s still got curtains up that have dinosaurs along the bottom.

I’ve eaten a packet of mini eggs so as to not be arrested Wicked. Best to be safe.

Am recording the Agatha Christie tonight. DH and DS1 won’t be interested and I’d rather watch it in peace.

FancyFancy · 01/04/2018 18:50

Evening, thanks for the heads up apricot, think I may watch that. Although it can never live up to And Then There Were None

Stop trying to deny the potato love helen closet Batshiteer

That would've totes been us letus, only JS was distracted by someone wanting a photo. Fangirls eh Wink

We saw Lady Windermere's Fan with Jennifer Saunders. During one scene change she, and a few cast members, did a version of this ditty - the audience roared

FancyFancy · 01/04/2018 18:51

Thanks to ww for teh heads up too

mrsreynolds · 01/04/2018 19:44

Ugh

Out of interest - anyone know what a fatal amount of chocolate is?

😣🤢🤔

LetUsPrey · 01/04/2018 19:45

That sounds like it was fab Fancy!

Watching Down the Mighty River. Steve’s brushing his teeth. With his top off. Aldo’s being manly and adventurey.

LetUsPrey · 01/04/2018 19:45

Not sure there is one Badderz but it’s not a bad way to go

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/04/2018 20:00

Doom, doom, I shall forever be known as a potato fondler. I will have to change my username - SisterHelenOfTheEternalSpud Grin Grin Grin

Food has been cooked and eaten - less of the straight chocolate though, strangely enough. We just stuffed our faces on roast dinner, profiteroles (chocolate#1) then mostly cakes (chocolate#2) and biscuits. I may have had about 4 mini-eggs and a malteaster bunny. (chocolate#3)
