Well the duvet may fit badders but I would check the weight your washing machine can take.

Have just watched some gymnastics - fabulous floor routines Smile

mrsreynolds · 24/03/2018 16:03

Well I managed to stuff it in [said the actress to the bishop]
We shall see...

mrsreynolds · 24/03/2018 16:04

Ds2 has bumped his head and cut it.
Sigh.
He is uber emotional due to his cold.
Lovely

ApricotCrush · 24/03/2018 17:00

Afternoon.

Oh, poor MiniBadders. I've washed single duvets but never a double one. I had one cleaned at Johnson's once and they charged me £22.50 and ruined it, it was all bunched up. I bought another one for less than that. I usually take them to the launderette.

Well I've done sod all today except a food shop. Is it time for Wine?

LetUsPrey · 24/03/2018 17:16

It’s always time for Wine Apricot. Except perhaps breakfast. That might be pushing it a bit.

Have no knowledge/experience of laundering duvets. Poor MiniMiniBadderz

Also caught a bit of the gymnastics. They have to be fearless don’t they?

Lie in does sound good though Helen zzzzz

Have been to mother’s and —done— assisted DS2 with his egg. Mother had some bits and bobs we needed.

Going to do dinner shortly. M&S dine in thingy. Have checked the instructions and a couple of things actually need to go in the oven. Only one thing in the microwave. This is practically cooking from scratch for me.

FancyFancy · 24/03/2018 17:24

Wine apricot, I feel I could do with your cat grooming skills here - FancyCat has an orange bib from licking a saucepan that was used to cook tomato pasta sauce Hmm

FFAS letus, bastards Angry
Am watching ToTP 1985 - Frankie by Sister Sledge. It hasn't got less irritating over time.......

LetUsPrey · 24/03/2018 17:36

at FancyCat and the orange bib

I know Fancy. Perhaps they could put in large writing on the front of the packaging not —for lazy fuckers— microwaveable

Ah Frankie, that was a bit of a shit song

mrsreynolds · 24/03/2018 17:54

Turned out ok

Will do ds2s tonprrow

Mine will have to go to the launderette as it's king size

ApricotCrush · 24/03/2018 20:10

Fancy I don't think FancyCat would appreciate my so-called grooming skills, I'm rather ruthless. She wouldn't have a bib left. Hmm

Well done Bads. I think you make a better job yourself than taking to the launderette, but ours is king size too.

I'm now singing Frankie. Grrr.

Troy later, I'm waiting for the horse. Grin

mrsreynolds · 24/03/2018 20:28

Troy?
Oooh
That hector is a bit of alright
I may peruse him it later

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/03/2018 20:35

We have a super-king duvet. Entirely my fault because when we replaced the last one, I insisted to DH that we already had super-king. It meant I had to them buy new duvet covers too Blush And it's a sod to change by yourself.... But it does say that the best way to clean it is to air it on the line on a sunny day, so at least we're spared the washing machine.

Is it bed time yet?

LetUsPrey · 24/03/2018 20:43

As ever, I am behind with Troy. Might watch a couple of episodes with tomorrow’s ironing.

Nearly bedtime Helen. I may go up myself soon if only to keep an ear out for DS2. He’s had tummy ache since early afternoon and feels sick. I’m just thinking you’ve got four more days of school and then you’re off - just hold on.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/03/2018 21:25

Noooooooooooooooo no illing children allowed.

I have been playing Angry Birds and now I'm in a bad mood because it's a bloody stupid game Angry Stupid birds not hitting the stupid bricks in the right places to kill the stupid pigs....

I shall read a book instead...

FancyFancy · 24/03/2018 21:40

Sorry about that apricot, it is an irritating song. Hmm, FancyCat can get a bit nippy if you annoy her, so maybe we'll just wait for her to get rid of the ornage herself Grin

Fingers crossed nothing comes of that tummy ache letus

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 24/03/2018 22:31

We're watching Last Leg - Martin Sheen is reading the T&C for Facebook in a manner that is more user friendly Grin what was it i was saying before about being easily amused? Grin

Morning wenches.

DS2 much improved this morning, although he still has a bit of a cough. He’s going to give swimming and sportingactivity a miss though. DH didn’t particularly agree about him missing swimming (not a lesson, just going swimming) because “well he seems better”. Ah but who’d be having to leave work if school phoned tomorrow? Hmm

Still got to do his homework though and finish the egg competition.

This means that I’m on sportingactivity duty with DS1 Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/03/2018 10:25

hurrah for improved DS, and Hmm at MrLetUs wanting to send him swimming.

Any HBIs at this morning's SportingActivity? Grin

Today we must do exciting things like, um. washing. Buying milk and veg. Erm... But right now I'm being a cat bed.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 25/03/2018 11:05

Scratch that. DS1 claiming to have a headache. Probably not helped by being on his phone in bed last night. Have told him that leaving his phone downstairs at night now includes Friday and Saturday nights. DH has told him it’s okay and he doesn’t have to go. He obviously doesn’t realise how many wenches he’s letting down. I shall decide that HBI isn’t there today anyway.

I’d quite like to be being a cat bed.

FancyFancy · 25/03/2018 12:01

Morning - another cat bed here! ScaredyCat is stretched out on me beind cuddly and purring. How much more satisfying if it were Aramis, or AT, or Armie, or FafZaf......... Without the purring. That would be weird. still would though

mrsreynolds · 25/03/2018 14:52

Trip to shops not successful
Ds2 couldn't find what he wanted
I've made cupcakes
Mum coming for tea and I've made an apple crumble
2 loads of washing
How boring

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 25/03/2018 16:05

at purring HBFs... and still would. Grin

Have been quite productive today - lots of weeding, then shifting a dismantled shed, and then my back went 'ping.' Not literally obvs, because that would be weird (see purring HBFs) but oh dear... So DH helped me check and restack the beehives, I lurched about the garden for a bit, and have now come in for food and drugs.

Poop. My back feels well and truly buggered just now. On the plus side though, both hives have survived the winter - against all odds (including a resident mouse in on, which has been turfed out now) and DH even spotted the queen in the other hive, so she now posesses a big white dot on her back for ease of identification in future. Which reminds me, I must mix up some food for the smaller hive-with-evicted-mouse, who are rather low on food...

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 25/03/2018 17:22

HBFs can purr all they want

Cupcakes and apple crumble mmmmmm

What an utter bugger re your back Helen. Lots of drugs and HBF applied massages. Am intrigued by bee food.

Have washed and ironed and looked after DS2. I think it can safely be said I am not one of nature’s nurses. He seems to be on the mend and is now watching Despicable Me 3 —which is a bit crap—

ApricotCrush · 25/03/2018 17:54

Afternoon wenches. Lovely day here but I hate the hour thing. Half of our clocks are still on old time so it's a bit confusing, although the bathroom clock is now correct after being an hour out since last October. Grin It's difficult to get to.

Very impressed by wench productivity. I've done two washloads and some ironing but the day seems to have disappeared.

Yay for the hives but boo for the pinging back Helen.

LetUsPrey · 25/03/2018 17:56

Grin at your bathroom clock Apricot
