Hurrah - I have been doing grown-up 'sort out your bank account' stuff. And swearing at one bank who have randomly decided that my account is dormant - having opened it 5 months ago I have written them a mildly sarcastic letter all about the idiocy of
a) the account being made dormant after 5 months
b) having to write and send a physical letter about an account that I can only manage online

Fingers crossed for HBI for LetUs, and for a cleaner/tidier sort of person for apricot. Actually, no. Why aren't apricot's DCs tidying up after their own DCs?

Also, why can I smell grilled cheese? WTAF is that about? There is no cheese being grilled in this house - I'm the only one in, and no cheese has been grilled today. And now I'm hungry I shall away and raid the kitchen....

Ds2 built a model light box for d&t and was chosen to talk about it at assembly

The other kids had just decorated a box but ds2 had actually built an animal for his light box [proud]

Not that the other ones weren't good. They were. But ds2s was the best 😁

Ds1 will be out all day on and off tomorrow so we might take ds2 to get some craft stuff

How big does a washing machine have to be to fit a double duvet in?

I think you need a professional in Badders - they can sort out all your washing and housework and let you go back to bed until the headache has gone. I just hang our duvets on the line for a airing, though I think I have machine washed a single polyester-filled one once. Maybe dry cleaning is the way to go if it really has to be washed?

I had the washing in the machine and ready to go first thing. Unfortunately I didn't tell DH this, so he went out without switching it on. And my attempt to get up and dooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt early failed utterly - I woke up at just gone 11am - bliss. Except half the day is gone and the list of things to do is still a full day's worth

I think it's going to rain here too...
