has anything particularly tough happened today? are you tired/not eaten properly/pre-menstrual or just feeling generally fragile - have a virtual hug and virtual favourite drink and chocolate bar.

Aero · 29/07/2004 18:40

Poor you nutty - anything strange going on in your life right now? Much sympathy and hugs sent your way!

lavender1 · 29/07/2004 18:41

Hi Nutcracker have you had the children all day??

mckenzie · 29/07/2004 18:41

sorry to hear you're feeling so blue Nutcracker.
Do you like exercise? I always find that a quick run or trip to the gym lifts the lid on my black days.

Aero · 29/07/2004 18:41

Have a real chocolate bar - it's meant to be good for you!

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 18:42

Erm, yeah I am a bit tired i suppose, haven't been sleeping so well lately.

Oh i dunno i'm just moaning as usual.

Cheers for the hug, i'll treat myself to a cuppa and a flake.

(((hugs))) to you

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 18:44

Lavender - I always have the kids, all day every day.

Aero - The kids have eatan it all.

Mckenzie - Unfortunatly I loathe exercise. Although i am trying to be good and have brought my dads air walker off him. Just need him to deliver it now.

Aero · 29/07/2004 18:45

That is bad news - a virtual one will have to do for now and LOTS of sympathy from us lot.

misdee · 29/07/2004 18:46

nutty i did cry today, when some old bag tutted at dd2. its all hormonal my dear (your not pregnant are u? lol. thats my excuse). i get days like this a lot, usually i find it is when i'm feeling lonely (no adult company, kids always around me), and just want everything to go away.

today i am blaming the muggy weather here.

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 18:48

Oh yeah you just reminded me Misdee, i was posting on your thread when i lost the connection.
Silly old cow.

No i'm not pregnant unfortunatly.

I know what you mean about feeling lonely though.

Nutcracker when was the last time you had a night out on your own? (I did last night hadn't been for months it felt so good to be with other girlies and chatting)

misdee · 29/07/2004 18:51

'No i'm not pregnant unfortunatly'

does this mean you are very broody?

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 18:52

Was supposed to be going out tommorow night actually, but have had to cancell due to no money.

OP posts:
nutcracker · 29/07/2004 18:52

I am permanantly broody Misdee.

OP posts:
Aero · 29/07/2004 19:01

I constantly feel stressed about being broke - could that be part of it?

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 19:02

Yeah could be that too Aero. We are always broke, no matter what we do.

OP posts:
Aero · 29/07/2004 19:04

Us too. Don't get me wrong - we get by and don't go short, but there never much in the way of disposable income, and we have some debt. It's not huge by any means but enough for me to be worried about all the time.

lavender1 · 29/07/2004 19:05

was it with friends Nutcracker (not being nosey) but if they are friends couldn't you say you're a bit skint and could you borrow a bit of cash, you'd do the same for them wouldn't you...if it's you and dh could you ask your mum (sorry if asking too much stuff but just sounds like a night out would do you good, it gave me a real uplift last night and a funny head this morning) lavxxx

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 19:13

Yeah thats like us Aero. We get by, pay the bills, buy food e.t.c. but theres never anything left for something nice.

Lavender - It was with a friend yes, but she's about as broke as me so...
We have said we will rearrange it when we both a bit more flush. Mind you we could be colecting our pensions by then

OP posts:
misdee · 29/07/2004 19:15

always seemed to be skint (but have just had some money come my way, but is being held back for moving hopefully).
but i culd always blag free nights out, but i did help out at a few clubs.

nutty, go and get soem choccie, is dh in? if he is then send him down the shops.

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 19:21

Oh no Misdee, can't stand to listen to the 'but i've been at work all day' moan again.

OP posts:
lavender1 · 29/07/2004 19:22

Nutcracker sounds like he thinks looking after your three children is easier than his job?!!

nutcracker · 29/07/2004 19:30

No doubt about that Lavender, until it's his turn to have them of course.

OP posts:
Aero · 29/07/2004 19:33

Can you go for choccie when he comes in?
