Afternoon.

Nurse Apricot here. DH is home. Yay! Bit of a panic as I've been using my car since he's been in hospital but wanted to fetch him in his as it's easier to get into. The battery was flat, wasn't it, so had to go in mine anyway. He managed it alright. So I have to administer painkillers as directed, apply an ice pack to his knee regularly and also GIVE HIM TWO INJECTIONS A DAY for six days to thin his blood. SHIT! Don't know who's more nervous, me or him.

Hope the DCs are better soon Bads and HelenDS is doing his homework.

School run now. Hope I can stop DGS jumping all over DH.

We have today introduced DS1 to The IT Crowd. We’ve done the first episode. Wenches, there were smiles, there was a little chuckle, there was even an out loud laugh! Woohoooo! DH and I were laughing like drains . Next stop - Black Books.

Hayloft for me. The bees enjoyed their walk earlier. I shall be spending some quality and quantity time with some HBFs as a reward.

C'est le latest update pour l'adventures of SisterHelene en vacance...
Pour making sure que le jour went avec un bang, le standard lamp was knocked over as nous attempted to sortie le room pour le skiing. Glass everywhere. FFS. et not a dustpan et brush in sight. Nous had to get un homme from reception avec un hoover. Took me right back to le Wench vacance in Prague, it did.

Ajourd'hui, le temps fait tres solei, c'est all tres pretty and scenic. Je went down another bloody noir run within 10 minutes of hitting le slopes, mais je have not fallen over too much. Still pas de HBFs though - c'est a bit hard to tell under the goggles/helmet/balaclava ensemble that le weather requires.

Good luck with the injections Apricot - DH has jabbed me in the past, but at the thought of jabbing someone else.

Ah Helen, je pense que peutetre tu should stay inside avec les HBFs and not move from le lit. Anything else would be trop dangereux. Tu need to indulge in l’apres ski so tu can assess for HBFs.
