Oh I wasn't wearing it at the time (Phew !) - I was sterilising it by boiling and got carried away on here and forgot it - next thing - big pong and lots of smoke !! Pan recvered afetr a soak in dishwasher detergent - mooncup had had it sadly !

nallydoolally · 18/04/2007 21:10

WHAT ARE CROCS?

Beauregard · 18/04/2007 21:11

Neither.................yet.

MegaLegs · 18/04/2007 21:11

Phew that's alright then.

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:11

If you wear them at the same time is it like a belt and braces policy?

Lovecat - Mooncups hold more than a tampon can - 10 ml of blood or about a third of the total average loss

don't know if that is useful to you

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:12

nally - you don't want to know

OP posts:
scatterbrain · 18/04/2007 21:12

Snort !!! Yes probably - although I have never had a leakage issue with my mooncup !

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:12

And crocs can't hold anything they have holes in. Someone said they would be useful for straining vegetables.

chocolateface · 18/04/2007 21:14

Has there been a thread on alternative uses for crocs?

scatterbrain · 18/04/2007 21:15

It's a silicone vessel that you bung up your fanjo to catch your mentrual flow !!! fab things !

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:15

No it isn't, it is a plastic shoe that makes your feet look like Minnie Mouse

You know the mooncup kind of utterly dissipitates the assertion of my science teacher who insisted a period was only a teaspoon of blood, I kept thinking this wasn't right at the time.....Would it be unreasonable to look up my old science teacher and inform her I now have concrete proof that I am right and she is utterly wrong or in possession of some rather mahoosive teaspoons????

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:16

Mooncups are fab !! Everyone goes "YUCK!" at first - but they are no more yuck than tampons or STs and actually a lot better for you and the environment and your purse !!!

Hathor · 18/04/2007 21:20

Sumsey you too will be sucked into the world of mooncups if you hang around long enough. Stronger people have succumbed

OP posts:
scatterbrain · 18/04/2007 21:21

Crocs ditto - everyone goes yuck at first and then you try on a friends' - and realise that they are really really comfy, practical, cool etc Not sure abpout crocs and the environment and they are actually not cheap - but they are fab too ! (PS they are NOT plastic !!)

Sumsey · 18/04/2007 21:22
