lol happy story. Both teenaged boys have a white bedroom ! The walls in DS2's room aren't quite pristine, they have black smudges on them from the ends of the pool cues . DS1's are fine

dd1, 7, lilac
dd2, 4, yellow

but dd1 is about to move to dd2s room and we are repainting it off white (she has been promised a whole wall to put her own pics/posters on )

ds s (8 and 4) share a room- eggshell blue/green
dd (2)- dusty pink with a 'patchwork' wall made from lots of laura ashley samples of wallpaper. hers is lush- wish it was my bedroom!

dd magnolia - free frm dh's work - painted for the recent arrival of long lost friend.

dds's camoflauge. its army tastic in there.

personally i prefer the navy. my dad was in the navy and the shades of blue are much preferable than green urgh.

dd8 two walls lollipop pink 2 walls magnolia.

ds7 dark blue at bottom. light blue at top with buzz lightyear border .

DD (5) lilac
DS (9m) light blue

DD (5) has a lilac and pink room with a fairy freize (sp) and stick arounds. Very girly.

DS (2) is bright purple with a pink ceiling. We only moved a few weeks ago and had to deal with dd's room first as it was blus and she "doesn't do blue".

Dss 13 green and blue - his choice!
Dsd 9 and ds 1 blue on his side and lilac on her side.

My DD is 4 1/2: bedroom is lilac, adjoining playroom is yello

ds1 (9) ds2 (2) both blue and white.

DD(7) -one wall shocking pink, 3 walls lilac

DS (2) -light blue

Ds 10 months buttery cream colour - painted before we knew he was a boy

dd (8mnths) 3 walls vanilla 1 wall dusky lilac

DD1 (2.7y) pink (turned out darker and brighter than I would have liked)

DD2 (13mo) lilac

they will both probably grow up and be real tomboys

the DSs room is blue and turquoise

our room is purple

DS1 and DS2 shared room, 2 walls red (for DS1) and 2 walls Blue with Action Man stick arounds(for DS2)!

DD1 and DD2 shared room, Bright pink with Winnie the Pooh stickarounds.! Bought wrong colour but it looks ok.

ds,3, 3 cream walls and 1 is a turquoisey 2 tone shimery type

Thanks for all the responses. All your rooms sound smashing ! We are just about to start decorating dd's room once the plasterer has finished (it was deep purple on the walls and ceilings with space stickers all over it - we only moved in 3 months ago and it had been a teenage girls bedroom !)

She has just turned 2 and I am having dilemmas on how to paint it. Don't really want to do the pink girly thing whilst she is young enough not to demand it () at which point she can have it ! Had planned on green but have now found some green fabric with white spots on which I quite fancy as curtains but then wouldn't want to do green walls so was wondering whether off white walls were too boring.

So.... am now thinking 3 white walls (including one with window on it) one green wall, flower stick arounds from vertbaudet which are green, white orange and possible matching duvet. So... it would be girlyish but not overtly so !!

She will also have some animally things for the wall (she has been given a giraffe wall chart and an animal clock).

DD (4y10m) has a pink room, with Disney Princess stick arounds/wall art squares on one wall.

dd1 & dd2 (13 and 12) Kind of yellowy-honeysuckle colour. They hate it and are fighting over how it is do be redecorated at the moment.

dd3 & dd4 (7 & 6) Bright pink and purple with fairies galore. Recently done - they love it.
