@MewlingQuim it's just* a dc c2c. It's in a physical book but I can copy later if you'd like.

• I am terrible at c2c. The actual "square" is therefore somewhat characterful. It felt kind of meant that I should tackle my nemesis in Z's honour.

Thanks so much for the update. Not surprised the old boot's still going, just like her So more time for us to gin & witter. Am sure she knows the Phalanx is wishing her love. And it's grown - we wouldn't fit in the Dustbin™ any more.

Hot choc a hit. Had emergency Twixes in reserve (I do not bake & I don't like cake) but there was cake. I asked the boy who brought it who had made it, wondering if mum or granny as it was so perfect. He made it. 10 years old. Blimey. Hang on, will try to find pic of similar.

His was twice the size & twice times 2 better looking.

Such lovely people here. I have a special little bottle of special gin that I may have to soon break into on behalf of Zombie and the Phalanx. Shall wait until smallest in bed!!!!
I loved the idea of people learning to knit or crochet to contribute to a Candy's Hug. I hope each one gives strength to the person who receives it.

I bought it for me when I lost my hair but it didn't really suit me. It sounds like it would really suit your DS much better

Think it was on the Sweary thread that I mentioned this. FidBoy2 has a school subject which is such a pile of tosh & we're never sure what it's about.

I started calling it Wankology. So does he now - with strict instructions not to call it such when his Granny calls & asks about school. It's on his timetable in the kitchen; Tuesday: Maths, German, Biology, Wankology ...

Zombie would laugh her socks off at that, & in that rich lovely laugh she has.

Anyway, half-yearly reports are out & am pleased & proud to announce:
FidBoy2 got a B in Wankology He said, "Mum, I still have no idea what it is."

I am at uni studying an obscure subject with a very painful module that none of us understands, this will be forevermore known as wankology!

Although the chances of me getting a B are nonexistent

I have re-joined mumsnet just to send some special thoughts, love and prayers to Zombie.

I am on a forced hiatus from woollyhug crocheting because I broke my shoulder 2 weeks ago. Ouch!
