It's a quiet Sunday here. Sunny and cool but no wind so actually quite pleasant. I've just made bacon sandwiches for a late breakfast and DH has just gone out shopping for Sunday dinner. I don't imbibe myself but raised a generous bar of chocolate to Zombie and the Phalanx last night. I hope today is peaceful for you Zombie and that you and your loved ones can feel the love being sent to you from all over the world. With love xx

Morning. Woke up with scratchy thrust and blocked nose. It's seems daughter has selflessly shared her bug with me. Still been out for the food shop, had a spot of lunch and now wondering if I could get away with a cheeky afternoon nap.
Hope zombie had a good night and is enjoying the crisp winter morning.

Am very pleased to hear that Bailey's has the Zombie Seal of Approval. However, and quite disastrously, I have now run out until I can make it out to get another. I did, however, find a bottle of Amaretto right at the back of the cupboard Christ knows how long that's been there so might give that a go later.

Also, and please tell me if I'm stepping out of line (see what I did there, Phalanx?) but has anyone heard from Fid? I know she is very close to Zombie and so I know this must be very hard for her. Haven't seen her around for a bit, so hoping she's okay

Good afternoon everyone. Hope all are well after drinking the world dry of gin and every other alcohol known to man.

I don't drink but have a fizzy water here!

We went to my mums for dinner last night - And somehow or other Ds who has ASD ate mashed potato for the first time in 5 years
The boys (DS and DN) also did their usual check of her picc line and bald head! I've no idea why they do it but mum always humours them!

Afternoon! We are also full of cold here. DP has been a star and taken the 3 year old out for the day so I only have to focus on the baby. We are watching bad TV, feeding and dozing. It is bliss.
Hoping zombie had a restful night.

My paternal Grandmother and Great Aunts used to drink whisky 'purely for medicinal purposes'. They would swallow a dirty great glug and go 'Uhvv Uhvv - terrible stuff. Yes, I'd better have another little one, Ina......'

I'm in bed ill as well. Should've chucked MrSomer out of bed when he started sneezing the other day.
I'm crossing my fingers its not flu because thats already knocked me out for 2 weeks this winter.

I don't have a candle in my bedroom but I will get the one I've been lighting for Zombie brought up here. I'm missing having the peaceful glow to look at whenever I think of her.

FidLets were great, I really was out of it for a few days. Couldn't even text my boss, had to get a Boy to do it.
