I think it helps to put a face to the name, it's helped me anyways.

It dawned on me earlier that at least one of my fb friends was v likely to be fb friends with Zombie and so I managed to see some pictures. Big smile and such a bright face :) I can visualise the pint and Ahem of CatThief's story now.

So not only I see no harm in posting a few smiley ones but if her son thinks it's ok it's ok.

Raising a glass to Zombie - I should have mentioned earlier, I was trying to build up the courage to come to a MN meetup, and it was the Zombie who took a peek through my Facebook and said that she thought I'd fit in just fine. I'm really sorry that I didn't have the spoons to meet up with her when I had the opportunity, but them's the breaks. I'm currently being kept company by a totally bonkers bengal cat who is playing fetch (like a dog). DH is shaving ready for work early tomorrow morning. He's a bit perplexed as to why I'm celebrating someone I've not met. But I think he's getting it. Slowly. Gawd bless you Zombie, and all who sail in you x

Zombie said on the last thread that everything on her FB was open to the world and anyone who wanted to share it here, should.

I think people double checking with ZLad is a nice, respectful thing to do.

I share your discomfort to an extent, but it's not about you and me.

It's not about what "needs" to be here, people want to feel close to each other, and close to Zombie.

If photos help that, it's a good thing.
