Zombie, I've had such joy crocheting squares in the lovely riotous colours for Candy's Hugs. I have a pile of about 20 here to sew the ends in then send off. I don't think I'll be able to work with any of these colours again without smiling,and thinking of you.
I hope the journey to the next stage is peaceful x

Thank you darling Phalanx. I asked my niece to post fully on FB and to request any MNers who saw it to spread the word fully on here. Once it's out on FB, it's out to the world. She's still having difficulty coming to terms with it all. I may repeat some of what she said but briefly, when I woke this morning, I was screaming in agony. My niece recieved "The Telephone Call", was asked to notify ZombieLad and to get to the hospice as soon as she could. The staff spent a lot of the day trying to stabilise me. I have a port and a morphine driver. The same requests apply to all of you. If you see news that hasn't been shared here from FB plaese do so. I simply cannot repeat myself and I could die at any minue and I want to say goodbye. I'll now go have a look at what she said. Love and good night. xxxxx

Well shit. I've followed Zombie and her shenanigans for years. I've been on Mumsnet for years and go hot/cold posting and lurking but Z has been a constant presence.

No today but tomorrow I'm headed to Florida to start probate on my dad's estate and will have a mojito for her.
