SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/01/2017 21:23

I have to patch some of DS' school trousers. This makes typing difficult.
#1stWorldPorblems

(quick catch-up)
Hurrah for nail varnish that doesn't chip! (Can't be arsed myself, but hey ho Grin )
Hurrah for bookcases (Not counting the bathroom/shower room, I think we only have one room without a bookbase!)
Boo for Madame's resident fuckwit Angry
Eek for comtess's ScarySportingEvent in a week's time Shock
Too right re. petitions
FFS at DS' knee-ripped school trousers...

Evening wenches

I like the sound of being Aunty Fancy badders - everyone needs a disreputable older aunt Grin

@ Swedish meatballs for everybody - no wonder everyone cheered.

Wine for ww - how scary was the film, you brave wench? Love all the books btw.

apricot - so how many rewatches will you be squeezing in this week? Wink And you are a complete glamourpuss - you put us all to shame.

FMWAC madame

Thanks for the gymbag update - love MrC's succinct answer Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 29/01/2017 22:29

Have given up with mending for tonight - patches are tacked onto trousers. I'll do the actual sewing in daylight.

Think I'm heading for the hayloft.

Night all...

I can check on him at lunchtime
No fog or frost here...yet!

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 07:56

Oh dear.
Now he's wheezing too.
Dr it is then....and I've got an optician appt today too
Grr.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/01/2017 08:03

Have fed child/cats/chickens. Can I go back to bed aagin now?

Badders there's nowt wrong with sending a coughing child to school, forget about the guilt.

Fancy - I may have jabbed myself with the needle. I wasn't entirely sure. I needed a through and detailed examination to check though Grin

Wicked I cannot belieeeeeve (etc etc) that you watched woman in Black to relax Grin hardcore!

Hope Apricot is enjoying a relaxing lie-in with Athos and that adame's TB is less of a fuckwit today.

Hope everyone has a good day, including who-ever I've cross-posted with since I seem to do that a lot these days. (Probably LetUs at this time of the morning Grin )

I can ignore the cough Helen
I can't ignore the wheezing
😞😷
Gah
I HATE mondays

LetUsPrey · 30/01/2017 08:09

Morning wenches.

Grin Helen - not today! Bit of a delay as I managed to knock over DS2's drink in the kitchen. I feel it's set the tone for the day.

Hope DS2 isn't too bad Badderz.

Can't really remember much else. Woke up three times in the night, twice after two separate nightmares. I love dreaming that there's a hitman (not Pete Waterman) outside my house and then I wake up just as he's about to shoot me. Fun times.

Better get on. Have great days wenches x

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/01/2017 08:12

Brew for LetUs (Bet Aramis would have stopped your assassin - as log as there were no crying babies to distract him)

for Badders and wheezy DS2

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 08:52

Thanks Helen
I had a really weird dream but now can't remember what it was...something to do with my old dog..🤔
Mum is coming to sit with ds whilst I go to the opticians and to work

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 08:54

Hitman!?
That sounds horrid Letus 😞
❤️ for you

FancyFancy · 30/01/2017 09:01

Morning

It's so grey out there - it seems like a good day for staying in the warm & getting stuff done. Oh how I wish that were a euphemism.....

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/01/2017 11:28

Wierd dreams and nightmares can FRO. Mine involved a stalker with a knife Angry so that was a lovely 4am wake-up.

And the weather is cold and miserable and frankly it ought to be a duvet day.

MadamedeChevreuse · 30/01/2017 12:57

Hello, Im off sick with a migraine. I held it at bay over the weekend but the fucker wouldn't be beaten.

Which is fucking annoying cos I wanted to go to the local anti Trump rally tonight. Might still go anyway though it will involve taking ds. Still, it is important I feel. Feels like one of those rare weight of history moments.

Anyone else going? There are LOADS all round the country. Here is the "full" list though my town's event isnt on there. Hmm

inews.co.uk/essentials/news/trump-muslim-ban-protests-around-uk-full-list-events/

wicked bookcase looks lovely, very cosy Grin

bads! I am watching Elementary. The one with Lestrade and two roosters in it. Sherlock just asked Watson, "Dont you like cocks?" with an admirably straight face. Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/01/2017 13:37

Sad Madame - [drugs]
No protests near us Sad Nothing listed on that page and nothing in local paper either. Anne is going to one of the London ones.

Afternoon.

Yes, I may have had a little lie-in. I've been sorting some drawers out and generally having a chuck-away and tidy.

I will have a re-watch of season 3 at some time Fancy for the first time, although to be honest, the whole season was spoiled for me because I felt that they totally re-invented Athos. I did really try to like Sylvie, but every time she appears I could scream. Sad

Hope DS2 is alright Bads.

Flowers Madame.

Off on the school run shortly.

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 14:38

I watched that one last night Madame!!
Sooo...
Opticians - £500 on new glasses with varifocal lenses I have a ridiculously complex prescription
£60 for roofer to fix dodgy ridge tile
And ofsted are coming tomorrow! 😖
Off to dr with ds2 at 3.45 so I will prep dinner before I go
Fun times

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 14:40

I'm TOTALLY with you on series 3 apes!
Sylvie was a poorly thought out plot device, nothing more.

MadamedeChevreuse · 30/01/2017 15:03

Hahaha bads we are Elementary-synching. The smell of our pheromones must be so potent they are travelling via broadband.

Badders123 · 30/01/2017 15:04

😳😂💋

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 30/01/2017 15:08

la-la-la-la
I liked Sylvie and S3 Athos, so nahhh Wink

In other news, The Stig is teaching Holly Grainger how to drive for Cormoran Strike Grin (Actually I think this is the Book Three scene with the unsavoury package being delivered - deliberately vague - has anyone here not read them?) pic from holliday-grainger.com/ via twitter
