Am not looking forward to the discussion with the canteen. One sucks her teeth at me & the other doesn't really understand, nice though she is. I tried to palm it off on the Head & HOY yesterday as they both ate there but they wimped out. Fid can sort it. Gits.

I decided to make the kids sausage butties. Turned the grill on but it was smelling a bit wiffy so decided to do sausages in the oven and clean the grill. Put the hot tray on the side and said don't touch that it's hot. Turned around to put sausages in the oven and my 3 year old daughter yelps. She touched it. Then my 8 year old touched it too. Argh. Luckily they're not seriously injured. Just a bit red and sore.

Hooray for a hospice bed! Hope they get that pain sorted out for you quickly!

Fatty my DD did that. She was two, grabbed the grill to get her fishfingers.

She was my PFB so rushed her to urgent care

Hi Zombie. I hope you are comfortably ensconced. I also hope that once the pain is controlled, the steroids kick in and you get your appetite back, you can build your strength back up.
