Morning all. Lovely day here.

I'm going to the funeral this afternoon of my Mum's gentleman friend/partner. They were together for 22 years and he was devastated when she died four years ago. She lived in a flat adjacent to his for the last five years of her life and he cared for her as well as any husband could have. He was a Normandy Veteran and President of our local British Legion, so it's fitting that his funeral is on Remembrance Day.
