I really want a crisp sandwich now but we don't have enough bread in because of needing to make sandwiches for DH and DS1 for tomorrow.

So I need to get a loaf tomorrow and some wotsits. I also need to get off my backside and empty the dishwasher and then refill it and do the dishes and then wait for the washing machine to finish. So I'll just finish watching this episode of Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta.

It's def. v. cold. Probably because it's November. I crunched my way across the frozen grass to let the chickens out this morning - first real propper frozen-drops-of-water frost so far this winter.
LetUs- I have a coat that we call the 'duvet coat' - it's all puffy and full of down and fluff and is well cosy
Apricot - all the best peopel answer the door in their dressing gown. I opened the door to tthe patio builders in my PJs and dressing gown when they arrived unexpectedly early. Then I moved my caronto the road, in the same outfit - plus wellies, to let them get parked up. We have twinkly solar lights on the tree outside the sitting room window. Sadly, since half the tree fell down, the lights just produce a wierd column shape, not a decorative tree-shaped shape.

Evening wenches. I agree with letus - white bread only for crisp sandwiches. Cheesy Wotsit sandwiches are lush. Salt & Vinegar crisp ones are lovely too. Which flavours are your faves for sandwiches?

Fish finger butties are also lush, you're right badders. I like mine on lightly toasted white bread and with tomato & chilli relish, it was our post-clubbing choice of snack as students.
