is there a rule that

  1. you have to ring at bathtime
  2. you have to have no news 3.you have to feel sorry for yourself in the usa for a week (!)?
  3. you have to be all drippy about he kids when your wife tlels you of any naughtiness

is there
well?

Ffs, what I'd give to be in his shoes coddy. Tell him that you'd gladly swap screaming kids and the endless drudgery of life as a sahm for a QUIET peaceful hotel ALONE (oh, I'm weeping with envy now) in the U S of bloody A.

WideWebWitch · 10/06/2004 19:15

Can you tell I've had a bad day?

SoupDragon · 10/06/2004 19:16

And exactly why are you expected to show sympathy because they're tired and hungover having been drinking til 6am???

WideWebWitch · 10/06/2004 19:19

Well, exactly soupy. Ohhhhh pooooor you, was it haaard, getting drunk with no children to wake you up in the night? Ahh, was it difficult when you had to have that extra glass of wine?

codswallop · 10/06/2004 19:30

yes but he always turns it around by saying 2 you know I would love ot be at home"

hmm crafty one

yes with the exploding underpants twins ds2 nad 3

Oooh! I've got another one! Whilst he's away, you arrange to stay with your parents. DH then tries to insist that you come back early from your trip (missing out on a home cooked roast dinner) because he will have missed the children too much (NB it's the children he's missed). However, you are not allowed to suggest that he come back early from anywhere in order to see the children before bedtime etc.

codswallop · 10/06/2004 20:15

oh yes
can you all recommend to my mother she does not ruing me 7 times in an hour too
