Congrats, the Debenhams dress is really lovely & looked ideal for a wintery do. They were all lovely actually.

pointydog · 03/02/2007 13:48

Didn't see your dress links, sorry.

Monsoon have some lovely ones, agree. Although that debenhams one would be good for the bingo flaps(that's my ones, not yours!)

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/02/2007 21:29

Judy1234 · 03/02/2007 22:54

Congratulations.
Am I right that people should make a new will when they marry or something? Does it partly invalidate an earlier one? Just something to remember but I might be wrong.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 03/02/2007 22:57

Thank you X.

But Xenia, as enterprising as you are, you arent getting my business I'm afraid - I have solicitors in the family

OP posts:
Aero · 03/02/2007 23:09

I missed it too - first time I've seen the thread, although Cadders mentioned this when I saw her yesterday. Wow!! Congratulations QV - fab news! Can't believe I misssed this!

Dresses are gorgeous too.

pointydog · 03/02/2007 23:16

oo.. sorry to muscle in but I've never had a will made. How much for a will? I think it's amnesty's will week soon - I should look into it

Judy1234 · 03/02/2007 23:27

My sister's was done free by solicitors in return for making a very small donation to a charity. If people don't have a will there's a risk their money won't go where they want (if they have any)... oops sorry, really completely inappropriate as you start on 30 years of wedded bliss for me to write about wills.

I wouldn't go anywhere near drafing a will. Far too hard.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 04/02/2007 00:04

Not very free if she had to pay 'some' money to someone, but, hey, if its going to a good cause I could live with that

Now, please dont turn my lovely happy thread into a dull one about wills

and thank you Aero x
