last time i was in charge of supplying snack for preschool I brought twatirose organic raspberries and homemade, fairtrade, organic chocolate brownies for the little darlings.
(I won't eat processed meat products though, shop bought pies, suas rolls etc Is that poncey? Or just sensible )

I also bake rather than buy.

But I'm too poor to be poncey most of the time. Otherwise I'd be all fur coat and no knickers...

yeahinaminute · 24/01/2007 16:45

My mum - The one with Klepto tendancies - only ever nicks Chanel/Dior/YSL tester lipsticks and tester face and hand creams !! and only from House of Fraser (Jolly's here)- never Boots or anywhere "downmarket" !!!

Now that is poncey !!

yeahinaminute · 24/01/2007 16:46

hunkermunker · 24/01/2007 16:56

Flamesparrow · 24/01/2007 16:56

Wish I could afford to be poncey....

The only thing I have is standing alongside Capp looking down my nose at nasty disposables.

hunkermunker · 24/01/2007 17:43

I've thought of something. Maybe.

I prefer wholemeal pasta. Yes, honestly.

Mercy · 24/01/2007 17:45

MB, being super duper intelligent is not poncey.

snobby collages in Oxford are though!

hunkermunker · 24/01/2007 17:47

Was it Muriel Collage, MB?

princessmel · 24/01/2007 17:48

Bucketsofdynomite · 24/01/2007 17:56

I went to the snobbiest uni in London, me and my flatmates used to give dinner parties with fresh seafood (live lobsters in the fridge and everything).
I also flew Virgin Atlantic Upper Class both ways for my honeymoon. It was DH's first ever flight so imagine his face at the British Midland Economy seats on the following year's holiday.

beckybrastraps · 24/01/2007 18:00

MB - claming to be the 'token leftie' of Oxford's snobbiest college is supremely poncey..

Mercy · 24/01/2007 18:03

pmsl Hunker!

Or Cross Stitch Collage?
