bundle · 24/01/2007 15:14

decafskinnylatte · 24/01/2007 15:15

Just saw the anti-ponce thread and simply couldn't think of anything to include!

bakedpotato · 24/01/2007 15:15

Our builder is called Rupert
My children refuse to eat shop bread

MrsBadger · 24/01/2007 15:16

isn't Enid's barman called Rupert?

(NB where is Malory, she'd love this)

PrincessPeaHead · 24/01/2007 15:16

we played lacrosse. not netball which is crappy.
bundle are you in bush house? (is WS even still there?)

bundle · 24/01/2007 15:17

Booboobedoo · 24/01/2007 15:18

My wedding dress was couture and made in Milan.

I make my own bread - and don't own a breadmaker.

I had a hand-made wreath on my door at Christmas.

DH bought some patterned loo-roll once, and I gave it to a neighbour.

Aaaaaah... feels good to let it out.

bundle · 24/01/2007 15:21

yes we are still here (and for the next few years by the look of it) let nation speak unto nation & all that...

PrincessPeaHead · 24/01/2007 15:23

I spent SO MANY hours of my life in bush house, privatising WS transmission amongst other things.
Is lovely MC still in charge of distribution? such a nice man

MrsMills · 24/01/2007 15:24

I only buy by flour from the mill at the bottom of my village(ish). It's all ground in the traditional way and it only opens twice a year, for about 4 hours.

doggiesayswoof · 24/01/2007 15:25
  1. No instant coffee - only fairtrade organic
  2. No juice from concentrate, only the 'fresh' stuff, and only tropicana, not supermarket
  3. I used to sing in a chamber choir (unaccompanied 16th/17th century sacred music was the thang)
  4. I used to play in a gamelan orchestra
(is that poncey or just obscure?)
bundle · 24/01/2007 15:27

I don't know pph, I am but a lowly producer there are lots of nice people here though. we will eventually be close to the new bh (oxf circus), prime johnny lou lou territory

swifterella · 24/01/2007 15:28

oh I have a friend called Rupert and he's a bulder (maybe same one??) is that poncy enough. Only have white bedding and towels, never ever have white sugar in the house, oh and this is a corker, have Duchy Original lemon biscuits with blue cheese. PONCEEEEEEEE

MrsBadger · 24/01/2007 15:28

singing chamber music is obscure, not poncey

harpsichords are poncey...

PrincessPeaHead · 24/01/2007 15:29

Oh Mrs Mills!

Look everyone she ONLY buys flour from her local mill that is only open TWICE A YEAR!

That is super-ponceroonie-tastic

we may have a winner

PrincessPeaHead · 24/01/2007 15:30

gamelans more obscure than poncey

but most interesting nonetheless

dotcotton · 24/01/2007 15:30

The last serious row i had with dh was about him ruining our le creuset grill pan - i accused him of overheating it to chargrill asparagus

MrsBadger · 24/01/2007 15:32

Can we have a Thread Collision from the top of Active Convos and talk about Ponciest Things To Wear In Labour?

CountessDracula · 24/01/2007 15:32

When I were young we only got our flour from the Tichborne Dole and that was once a year

We always kept our flour in pillow cases as a result
