they are right near me!!!

sniff · 08/01/2007 11:26

I cant believe she asked how much it was worth to the so called jeweller as her first question you would have to say who you were and not spoil the suprise wouldnt you

Saturn74 · 08/01/2007 11:26

Sounds a bit scripted to me, in which case it's quite funny.
If it's real, it's a shame the boyfriend didn't have the bollocks to confront his girlfriend himself. I think she probably got off lightly - what kind of man would rather let some DJ broadcast his personal problems to the world than deal with them himself?
And if it is real, he's better off without her.

So a good result all round!

geekgrrl · 08/01/2007 11:28

hahahaha
serves her right

NotAnOtter · 08/01/2007 11:29

does sound scripted - i dont believe it

Caligula · 08/01/2007 11:29

I agree with Cappuchino.

This is sick, vulgar, cruel shit, if it's real.

I can't believe anyone thinks human beings treating each other like this, is funny. It's disgusting.

wurlywurly · 08/01/2007 11:33

whether it is scrpited on not its funny

Bananaknickers · 08/01/2007 11:34

hope the married bosses wife didn't find out live on air too

SSShakeTheChi · 08/01/2007 11:34

I'm of the "heap burning coals on their head" school. If someone hurts you and publically humiliates you like he felt she did, you end up looking even worse by retaliating in kind.

Have to admit to having listened with a kind of fascinated horror though...

Cappuccino · 08/01/2007 11:35

think it was telling that she said 'he's hard to pin down' when asked if she was expecting a proposal

what sort of shite has he been up to that he has failed to mention to this dj and, er the rest of the world?

northerner · 08/01/2007 11:35

It's real. Danny Dumps happens once a ween on Galaxy FM. Check out their website.

That's right, she's slapper so he must be guilty as well. WTF?

If he is, is it Ok then that she blew her boss in the bogs?

Pablothelittleredfox · 08/01/2007 11:38

Quoting cappucino there

Caligula · 08/01/2007 11:41

Danny Dumps?

Is this for people who would otherwise be on the Jerry Springer show?

God almighty, we really haven't moved much further on from when Oliver Cromwell made it illegal to go and poke mentally ill, distressed people in lunatic asylums, have we.

What a vile idea. What vile, low-life people who participate in it. What a vile culture which tolerates it.

Why don't we just throw her in the stocks and get people to throw rotten fruit and missiles at her? That's what they would have done in the middle ages. Now, we just use radio instead.

FGS, FGS, FGS. Horrible, horrible, horrible.

Cappuccino · 08/01/2007 11:41

no pablo I was saying that she had said to the DJ that he was 'hard to pin down' even though they'd been together for 4 years

the story that she gave someone a blowjob has just come from a friend of a friend

and I don't trust anyone who treats someone, however much in the wrong they may be, when they claim to be in love with them, with such public venom and immaturity

it strikes me that the bloke just cares that people were talking about him and he wants to get the last laugh; not that he is someone who is hurt and who has lost something he loves

he sounds like a nasty, undignified, controlling piece of work

Saturn74 · 08/01/2007 11:43

Re "Why don't we just throw her in the stocks and get people to throw rotten fruit and missiles at her?"
That wouldn't make for very good radio though.
And that's probably the only reason!

Caligula · 08/01/2007 11:44

No but we could televise it and use our technological expertise, unavailable to mediaeval peasants, to show how far we've come in 500 years.

Pablothelittleredfox · 08/01/2007 11:44

Ha ha ha - this thread is almost more entertaining than the radio show!!!

northerner · 08/01/2007 11:44

"he sounds like a nasty, undignified, controlling piece of work"

Blimey, are you Mystic Meg or something?

Hmmmm, haven't listened but sounds a horrendous thing to do.

Pablothelittleredfox · 08/01/2007 11:45

Please, I'm trying to work here and I am pmsl!!!

Cappuccino · 08/01/2007 11:47

does a bloke who

a) doesn't even talk over an alleged infidelity with his girlfriend of 4 years who he claims to have loved enough to spend the rest of his life with
b) dumps his girlfriend on the radio in the most humiliating manner possible
c) buggers off to Mexico without a tear shed

sound like a great catch to you? Really? Like the kind of person who can be trusted with your deepest secrets, fears and dreams?

get off. no-one should marry a bloke like this.
