God yes re food. Ds2 in particular is very fussy and I'm too tired to keep trying tbh. So it's the same staples week in week out...

I have Amazon prime, and use it for music, tv, everything....I love it.

I'm another cooking loather. Like you all I get fed up of planking and shopping and cooking etc. I did meal plan. Still do. Still hate it. With one DS who will eat anything I do, one who will only eat fixed things and a meataton DH who appears and vanishes, it's a nightmare. When I'm rich and we have a commune no wench will cook again.

Everyone is having a space morelike. DH's will have a house they can go and do annoying DH stuff in. Like the gate house. We will be in the commune and will just wench and there will always be someone to help with the DC. Always someone to cwtch with. Always a blanket and a quiet spot for those days. Just us lot being together.

helen I like your Christmas strategy - sounds like mine. I'm another late one for putting up the tree. This year I will try to be more organised & check whether I actually need any more cards before buying them . My parents are visiting later in the week, so I think we will spend the day shopping - it keeps them occupied!

Cooking is bloody dull badders, especially when it's a chore to be done every day. Bloody overrated, thanks to all the nauseating celeb chefs (who I bet don't cook every day for their families). Bah humbug.

I have a plain black sleeveless dress and a number of different boleros which I dress it up with, a sparkly one, a lacy one, a velvety one, and it never looks like the same dress. It's going on again this year.

We have our tree up. DH has done the lights and it's waiting for me to do the decorations. Has anyone else found the cards to be disappointing this year? Many of them don't refer to Christmas at all, I assume because other religions would be offended, but I'm sure they wouldn't. I know the Americans refer to it as Holiday rather than Christmas.
