If you can stop drooling at Jason Issacs the conclusion of State Within is on at 9 tonight. ThgeThe BBC home site may give you a chance to catch up or there is a thread on it in telly addicts (mostly rambling due to me...sorry)
Best thing on telly for ages (well since state of play when I developed an...appreciation of Bill Nighy)

Other than thatIt's Tom and Vicky on CITV!or QI if i stay awake!

dabihp · 07/12/2006 15:26

Lost. Prison break. My name is Earl. Ugly betty. and best of all The American Office!

FrayedKnotRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 07/12/2006 15:29

Can't remember - it's all so rubbish.

Our TV broke and we didn;t get a new one for 10 days and the only time I missed it was for CBeebies when I'm cooking tea

MerryBiglipsmas · 07/12/2006 15:31

"Who do you think you are?" i thought that was so interesting

Wonder when its back on? i havent watched tv all week as sssooooo crap!

speedySleighmamahohoho · 07/12/2006 15:50

Planet Earth is exceptional.
Monarchy is fascinating and steeped in historical facts
Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares is hilarious
The Secret Millionaire is thought provoking
The Sky at Night is informative
The Dimbley Lecture last night about the MOD was timely and surprisingly objective

It's very easy and blase to say that there is nothing on. It's ultimately a matter of one's personal taste, interest and time.

I think it was Inspector Morse in 1992 (was it around then?)

Marina- must have totally missed BBC4 re-running The Crow Road- it was very good iirc. Annoying to have missed it.

QI is very good too.

I watched Casanova (Mr Tenant) when it was on and the BBC adaptation of Pride and Prejudice (circa 10 years ago) was a must-see.

Er... that's about it. We only really use the TV for watching DVDs and listen to the radio most of the time.

DumbledoresGirl · 07/12/2006 16:21

Last Saturday - Robin Hood

I also quite like Torchwood - though the plots are variable.

Also thought that How do you solve a problem like Maria? was quite interesting.

Jane Eyre was good.

Honestly, I don't watch much tv, but I enjoy enough to stop me being a grumpy old so-and-so.

Last time I watched something really good on the TV was March when my husband & I watched the DVD of the 3D/4D scan of our wee baby who was born in May.

izzybiz · 07/12/2006 18:06
