I packed DS off to School and then went back to bed.

And now I have to get dressed because I have to extract DS from school and have a Dr peer into his ear and tell me to provide calpol and hot water bottles for it

Hydrocortisone doesn't seem to be having any effect either way.. Also booked in for Old Gimmer health MOT for the end of the month #Efficient

I've treated myself to a new pair of boots and a coat today. And will be getting a haircut later this week.

The Dr actually provided actual medicine and DS has an infection and a slight perforation so no swimming for two weeks (that's me being sad, not DS, he's delighted to get out of swimming) then I had to rearrange his follow-up appointment because it clashed with one of his before-school sports club, and my name would be mud if he had to miss it.

Also HappyBirthday to MiniLetUs - is this the lego addict? We're off to buy another minifigure after school because DS has saved up enough, and I'm a mug (as in, I agreed to do a 10 mile detour after school to go to the shop where he gets his loyalty card stamped)

Flu jab this afternoon.
Have done the ironing, got a wash in the dryer and my uniform drying on the airer.
Watched the rugby yesterday, good result for Ireland :)
Pleased that nadia won bake off, glad Ian didn't. He was creepy.
Am watching my b day DVD - da vincis demons. Very good.
Got a busy week coming up so could do with feeling better :(

Oh DS is fine and dandy now thanks - you wouldn't know anything was wrong now. I wouldn't have bothered with the Dr if he hadn't dropped his head onto his hand during breakfast and then said that it had made his ear hurt.

And can I just have a wail here? The zip on my favourite fleece ever (all nice and warm, and fitted, with sleeves that are long enough for an orangutan me) has decided that it no longer wants to work.
