Urgh. Had long evening. Got DS reluctantly to FridaynightSportingActivity which fortunately went off with no problems this week. then got home to pick up DH who had just put away chickens - fab. We need to go - I'm just popping to the loo, ok? Yes? come out of loo to find DH working on his computer again and DS watching TV. WTAF? How does that compute when I'd just said 'we need to go'
Get to friend's house for nice Friday night niatter and drink, thenplan to drop her off with a friend on out way home. DS then gets raging earache - wailing writing about variety. Took DS and squiffy DH home, taxi'd friend ot her next drinking session. Got back home. DS is now dosed up with drugs and hot water bottles and I think I need to go to bed.

DH is talking about taking him to drop-in Dr surgery. Except he has to work. so that will be my saturday lie-in spent sitting at the Drs to be told 'oh yes, it's an ear infection - calpols and hot water bottles. Come back next week if it doesn't improve."

It's not that I begrudge taking him to the Dr, it's just the timing that's so fecking annoying. And it's horrible when he's so unhappy and I can't do anythign useful for him.
