Wenches know how to parteeeee. The 2015 Oktoberfest is in Munich. Now, who do we know who lives in Munich eh? Shall we transport ourselves over, virtually, using the Tardis? Or shall we just wench and party and have our own Musketeer tribute UK based Oktoberfest of our own?

And these?

No. I haven't spent all day looking for clothes.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 06/10/2015 16:45

See. You've gone for exactly the outfit I described Grin

I have boots v v similar to that.

FancyFancy · 06/10/2015 16:48

I was about to say, all lovely except for the shoes in the trousers pic and then I scrolled down to the boots. I love the boots!! All together it would be fab, I can't tell about the colours as I am crap at them on a screen.

ArfHole · 06/10/2015 17:10

Except I'll look like a fat blob and you'll look lovely.
If it's cold I've got a scarf I can wear. Or I could make one. Oooooooohhhhh.

So, silver or gold accessories?
If I have to have a bag because I'm bleeding, wot then? I don't own a bag other than my crochet one for everyday.

Dark purple trousers, navy top With sequins and a dark grey jersey blazer type jacket. And navy boots.

ArfHole · 06/10/2015 17:11

And a top hat and monocle.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 06/10/2015 17:16

Silver

FancyFancy · 06/10/2015 17:39

I always prefer silver accessories.

I am beyond crap when it comes to bags, can't be arsed & have a tendency to forget I have them with me & leave them places. I am a big fan of pockets - but then I love my mooncup so don't need to carry much around with me Grin

MrsEvadneCake · 06/10/2015 18:28

Evening. My internet is being an asshat.

I think you'll look great Norah. I prefer silver things. Could you crochet yourself a small bag and scarf out of matching yarn?

Cinn I hope the foot isn't too bad today.

Obs2015 · 06/10/2015 18:46

All the clothes look fab Norah. When is this theatre trip? How long have we got to 'make you over'?

Grin at the idea of a wench makeover obs - what could possibly go wrong!

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 06/10/2015 18:56

Love the boots. I've been looking for a pair like those for ages.

And yes to silver with that colour palette.

I'm tempted to do toddler's birthday trip to the transport museum in full steam punk gear. (I won't really). But I'd match the steam trains and omnibuses.

ArfHole · 06/10/2015 18:57

Ygwh, I prefer silver as well tbh. I'll only need a bag if I'm blobbing. It's on November. No idea of the date or if it's actually true, but I've moved my haircut back, (or forward?) so it'll be newly trimmed etc for November. It'll be a nice Xmas outfit if nowt else eh?

ArfHole · 06/10/2015 18:58

I'm actually looking for steampunk inspired jewellery!
Maybe if I don't wear the top hat I could wear goggles. In case of a hair emergency situ.

FancyFancy · 06/10/2015 19:08

Hat & googles here norah - in fact a whole outfit

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2015 20:05

Norahhhh!
Yay for wench makeover! (Those boots are lovely) Get some silver spangly wool/thick thread and crochet yourself a snazzy evening bag.

In other news sodding delightful DS woke at 5:15, so it's not going to be a late one tonight. Then I got to work and found I'd been shunted onto a different desk which meant everyone in the office could see my screen NoWhereToHide. Gah! That was long a tedious day of having nothing on my screen that wasn't work-related :(

Madame how is your acceptance train to innerpeaceville?

MadamedeChevreuse · 06/10/2015 20:18

Well today helen I practised breathing while waiting for the bus in the rain.

Then I observed and accepted with self compassion my emotional reactions to an insanely annoying phone convo with my mum.

It is a work in progress.

Ommmmm.

MadamedeChevreuse · 06/10/2015 20:29

I am being sarcastic but the course is really good honest, I totally recommend it. It only takes about 2-3 hours a week and it's totally free.

I'm already feeling a bit calmer. For example I am typing this right now with my ds literally sticking his bum in my face and farting, yet I am relatively calm. Hmm

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2015 20:30

Grin Every time I try to be all serene and calm I seem to end up swearing or giggling. Or falling asleep. Speaking of which...

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 06/10/2015 20:48

I'm boiling! Watching a program about virginity testing!!!! It's even done here in Sweden, at a normal GP's office!!!!

Cinnamoncookie · 06/10/2015 20:51

Hang on Fancy, you don't need a bag because you have a mooncup? how much stuff do you keep in it?!?!?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 06/10/2015 20:55

I can just picture it at the supermarket "Excuse me while I get my purse out..." Grin

How's the foot today Cinn

FancyFancy · 06/10/2015 22:37

Evening - madame I can feel the relaxed vibes radiating off you from here.

Well cinn, once you've had kids or are over a certain age you need the large size of mooncup so...... Grin
