Well there's at least one thing in Kennington I wouldn't mind riding Grin

Did I get that right wenches? I was trying to make it sound naughty.

night ww, excellent command of English there Grin

InsomniaQueen · 14/09/2015 22:18

Will have to catch up properly but to ensure that I don't need to jump from an upstairs window onto a hay cart......I offer the following things:
Beards - I refer to as 'panty removers' DH does not have a beard but I could imagine myself rubbing my face on it if he did
GoT - EPIC!!!!!! Although all my most favourite person got killed off - I'm hoping the red woman uses some kind of magic to bring him back. Sweet lord, john snow what man, I would tumble him on a snow capped peak any day
Dr. who - I used to hum the theme tune to DD when she was tiny, her middle name is Amelia and it is my 'disturb and die' show.........I only have a few and that is one of them.

Ok so now I ask you - what's in the book shop??? If you say historical romance I might just move in permanently!

MrsEvadneCake · 14/09/2015 22:24

There is a reading of war and peace going on...I read anything and everything, including cereal packets!!

FancyFancy · 14/09/2015 22:34

There's all sorts in there from Russian literature & Austen to pure filth. Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy gets many mentions.

And discussions about who should be cast as particular characters in books.

I am doing an on-line grocery shop by the way. It is not going well

MrsEvadneCake · 14/09/2015 22:36

fancy you need: loo roll, milk, chocolate biscuits, alcohol of choice.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/09/2015 22:42

I think the book shop was because the general concensus was that lots of us wanted to work in one - but without any customers coming in to annoy you. It was one of those second hand bookshops with loads of stairs and weird little rooms and cubby holes. and comfy chairs to sit in.

And so to the hayloft (without tripping over LetUs)

Night all...

MiladyBeaWinter · 14/09/2015 22:44

You also need Tunnocks and of course you are always luffly.

Ahhh GOT Insomnia. It's a bit Marmitey about that in here. I'm on the loving it side of the fence. along with most of the men in it

The book shop also has a large selection of Biff, Chip & Kipper and works by Austen. But no doilies.

Right, off to bed to dream rude things about Athos. See you the morra wenchi.

FancyFancy · 14/09/2015 22:54

Aw thanks MrsB, as are you, especially when you remind me to buy Tunnocks Grin

mintyEva how did you know? Shock

MrsEvadneCake · 14/09/2015 22:59

AnneEtAramis · 14/09/2015 23:15

Oh and since it came up, I can't get on with the audiobook of War and Peace so it looks like I will have to read it after all. In fact I haven't got on with any of the audiobooks I have bought so .

ElkforLeather · 14/09/2015 23:29

And what the hell, I'm just going to plaster this one here and I don't care

And hello Insomnia, welcome, but you should know, once you get sucked in its impossible to leave....and my god, you really should watch it. Just don't bother developing a thing for the moody, snarky one that leans on stuff and oozes the very essence of Hot Beardy Fuckeryness out of every tightly done up button on his leather trousers. He's already occupied.
