DS2 starts school tomorrow!! I am excited for him, and excited/nervous/sad for myself. Have got raging PMT which isn't helping, I just know I'm going to burst into tears tomorrow morning.

I'll leave John Malkovich to liv & ali, but that Santi pic will do nicely thank you letus. Am still outrageously OTH so the rewatch will be very welcome tonight. Between that & the highlights of two cycling races to watch, I expect my evening to be full of leather clad hbfs & firm lycra covered thighs.

Aw ali, it is a bit of an emotional time, remember to go prepared - tissues, dark glasses & phone so you can pretend to be busy afterwards & so avoid talking to people, which would give away the quavering voice!

Wenches - first full week back at work and been mega busy. Will sort of catch up, but not a hope in hell of actually doing so, cwtches, snogs and whatnot all around for those who need them.

DH has proven his love for me today as I have just got up and discovered malt loaf in the cupboard.

He will however be back early from work so I don't think I can do rewatch although I do have a new laptop so will check for DVD drive.

In the meantime I leave you with these handsome and honourable soldiers.

Am I the only one who basically ignores Biff and Chip??? We do read them, but pretty soon I just let them pick from our shelves. I also still read to all of them, including nearly 10 year old. Phonics is great, when your language is phonetic.

I have just remembered it's also Lady Chatterley tonight. And DH will want to watch Harvey Suits. Arghh.

Haven't RTFT.

DGD and DGS2 stayed for a sleepover last night. I love them, but they exhaust me. The little one fell over on the hearth playing with DH. He was fine, but the ceramic pot which we brought back from Portugal 25 years ago wasn't! It has/had a flower display in it and is a focal point of the room. I'm gutted.

DH also chipped the wash-basin in the en-suite yesterday. I'm now waiting for the third thing to happen. I wonder if it counts that a bird shat on the towel I'd put out to lie on in the sun to recover.

Malt loaf anne - love that stuff, good perfermance from MrAnne there. Re Biff and Chip, yes I whizzed through them with DD & let her choose stuff from home. Eventually the teachers took notice of my increasingly strongly worded comments in her reading record & moved her through them rapidly

That's rotten luck apricot, hopefully the towel will count & you'll be spared any more accidents!
