Morning. A bit sluggish here, went to bed a bit too late & then ScaredyCat was playing silly buggers - thundering around the house & miaowing in the hope someone would get up & play with her . It took me a while to sleep after that as I was then over-tired, which for a confirmed night owl is quite an achievement.

Good morning wenches. Phew! Managed to get back in here again, bloody nightmare.

It's pretty miserable here, I'm pondering whether to do any washing because as soon as I do it will pour down.

The boys were fighting with each other last night over something. So I didn't sleep till late either. Groceries have arrived.

Mosty definitely echo your 'thank fuck it's Friday' badders Am shattered - not through lack of sleep so much as I think worrying about reorganisation at work, my job is going to change definitely and there are some promotion opportunities but there are better candidates for the ones I'm interested in, plus have a feeling everyone expects me to go for successor role 1 when I'm more interested in successor role 2. Grrr, it's all a bit much and details of internal application only released yesterday and deadline is 7th Sep, during most of which DrIssy is going to be way on the bloody West Coast of the USA, bastard.

On the bright side, Ds1 is flying home from my parents this afternoon so knocking off work early at 3pm today (hurrah!). Fish & chips from the chippy for dinner tonight however there will be an exponential increase in bickering chez Stark

Actually, Porthos looks very smug (NorFlops must be approaching) and Dog look a bit sad due to lack of Team Dog...

Back from swimming.Little DS howled determinedly through the whole lesson. Big DS tried really hard and his managing to dive from standing. A huge achievement. The instructor was lovely to him all week and he's responded brilliantly.
