Spontaneous cricket orientated celebration kicked off at mine yesterday and seems to have rolled over into today. However, I was greeted with a Pimms on return from work so I'm going with it.

labelling: as you may remember I get an elderly neighbour to sew in the labels which is all part of my own personal social case initiative. My boys cut their hedges and do the lawns, they contribute back with the labels and other sewing needs (I'm fucking hopeless at sewing stuff). Also SHARPIE MARKER EVERYTHING.

I also did that Cambridge Latin course, Cerberus est in horto etcetera . Was all happy til the volcano kicked off.... RTD deffo did that at school too

Helen, LetUs and Minteva have fantastic restful holidays (change is as good as a rest etc) xxxx

In other news, someone bought me some bunting with CWTCH on it today . Haven't got a fucking clue what to do with it but so sweet a thought.

Chaise DS was quite nervous about riding without stabilisers - I started off holding the back of the saddle and him just balancing without peddling to see how far he could balance for (bit knackering on the back, but ho hum hey) Then running a bit with him to get him going for longer & peddling, and then we bribed 'incentivised' him - £5 if you can get the the bottom of our enormous garden - another £5 if you can get back again. It worked (and he bought himself a light sabre with the proceeds).

Comtess whoop-whoop re cricket, but the poor sodding venues who paid to host the ashes... I can't see how they'll not make a huge loss after having had to refund the empty days of 'no cricket, we won already'

I have packed made a pile of clothes for DS (to be packed thrown in a bag).... and also made a small pile of food in the kitchen to be taken with.

Currently getting away with wenching because I'm doing a mega-680MB download for work. So I need to have the computer on. And monitor the download...

Best get on... I will also be needing clothes to take with us.
