lyndie - you are so right, silence is more worrying than anything . DD is 12 & very skinny, she doesn't have much to put in a bra, but has complained about tenderness & finding bumpy buses uncomfortable, so I offered to buy her one. We went to M&S armed with 'back off lady we don't need your help faces' & found a couple of basic teen-type bras that she's happy with. If anyone had approached us with a tape measure I'd have garrotted them with it

badders, my sympathies - getting them to do stuff can be hard work at times & then they get to this time of the day & start moaning or playing up as they're bored.

I'm really thankful that SSRI exists, I was very low some years ago, a combination of getting older, moving a lot, changing jobs etc so I went to a very understanding GP who helped me. But I quit them to early so a few months later I started again. I feel fine now except mood swings that I think is hormonal. Oh well

My mum has become much worse since dad died. My bro and sis have little to do with her, unless they want something.
My sis has her own issues tbh (huge twat of a dh - oh, he's drinking gain btw!! After nearly dying if a stroke a few months ago!) and she is very unhappy I think :(
My brother is just a knob. I love him, but he is what he is!
Sad thing is I don't think any of them would wee on me if I were on fire. They would genuinely look completley baffled if I pointed out that I needed help sometimes too :(

I've stuck little DS in my bed to get him to go to sleep. Don't care as long as he sleeeeeeps pleeeeaaase.

Going to speak to DH on the phone and then go to bed too I think. Got to pack everything tomorrow and I booked a ranger activity at the local park. Might have been over optimistic about how much I can do!

Do you have to be there for the ranger activity or is it drop and kick off, minty?
