Fairtrade Divine Milk Chocolate - I NEED some now!

Linnet · 05/05/2004 21:46

Most chocolate by Galaxy is good enough for me.

I was given some of those Lindor balls at christmas and they were lovely.

I particularly like Chocolate Gingers from Thorntons and the best thing about them is that neither Dh nor DD like them so I get them all to myself, LOL

I'm not keen on Hersheys chocolate but they do a cookies and cream bar that is ok.
Reeses Peanut butter cups are nice and the Reeses Nutrageous bar is good as well.

tanzie · 05/05/2004 21:49

Mary's, Pierre Marcolini's, Passion Chocolat.

Neuhaus at a push. Godiva or Leonidas if I must.

I am very spoilt

Lisa78 · 05/05/2004 21:52

brown, any chocolate in brown is my favourite

hoxtonchick · 05/05/2004 22:12

Green & Black's dark choc with cherries. I really want some now.

OldieMum · 05/05/2004 22:35

The best chocolate I have ever tasted came from the Chocolate Alchemist. I bought dh a box at Xmas. It included chocolates with fillings like lime and chillies. That may sound odd, but they were wonderful.

OldieMum · 05/05/2004 22:36

That should say 'flavourings', rather than 'fillings'.

OldieMum · 05/05/2004 22:37

Is Hershey's really chocolate in any meaningful sense?

chrissey14 · 05/05/2004 22:42

where,s that from? GALAXY for me

KateandtheGirls · 06/05/2004 01:07

Another no for Hersheys. I think it must be what you're bought up on. All my American friends like Hersheys, and my kids won't say no to a Hershey's kiss either.

What's Green and Black? Is it something I need to try when I'm in England this summer?

I love:
Dairy Milk
Galaxy
Yorkie
Any dark/bittersweet chocolate
Dark chocolate orange
Cadburys Creme eggs

Preety much any English chocolate really.

toddlerbob · 06/05/2004 03:46

A Kiwi one called Whittaker's Bittersweet Chunks - it sounds like sick but tastes wonderful - and dairy free! Yum, big bar in the pantry now.

bran · 06/05/2004 12:47

Green and Black's Maya gold - you can get a great chocolate buzz without having to eat very much.

Dh used to work 2 days a week in Brussels and when he finished they gave him a huge box of Neuhaus, which is my favourite box-type chocs. I was really looking forward to them the next day when I came home from work, only to open the fridge and find he had brought them into the London office. Creep - he only left me 3. He said he did it for my own good.

all of it, anything, not fussy at all.

Dh always looks out for new ones in the supermarket for me, bless.

I found a 'Mars Delight' in Tesco's at lunch which is 'a rippled wafer centre surrounded by caramel cream and chocolate'. Mmmm mmmm mmmmmm. Will report back when it has been scoffed.

collision · 06/05/2004 13:57

I love Caramac, Crunchie, Lindt Red thingies that are wrapped in lovely paper, Lion bars, topics, Galaxy........oh everything really!

collision · 06/05/2004 13:58

Sorry Linnet - Reeses Peanut Butter cups are disgusting - ditto Hersheys - Americans can just not make chocolate - Thorntons is my fave but also love Cadburys, Greeen & Blacks is gorgeous - do I need to continue....

gscrym · 06/05/2004 15:20

I'm allergic to caffeine so can't have milk or plain chocolate. I have discovered that White chocolate has virtually no caffeine so at the moment I'm loving Nestle Double Berry. Particularly nice melted and made into crispie cakes.
I can also highly recommend white chocolate hot chocolate but it has to be made with a high speed stick blender to make it frothy.

Toothache · 06/05/2004 15:24

Lindt chocolate eggs..... OMG!! They are amaaaaaaazing!!!

And Thorntons rum truffles. In fact, most truffles on the market are pretty good!

Guylian Belgian Chocolate Shells are another personal favourite...

Right you lot, this isn't fair! I'm stuck at work with only a bio yoghurt left to eat!

Tissy · 06/05/2004 15:27

I've just realised that I'm sitting in my office just inches away from unopened boxes of Milk Tray and Ferrero Rocher that have been sitting on a shelf since Christmas. That's how much I love Green and Blacks!
