So, we have passed our 100,000 posts of Musketeer-related musings & as befits such an achievement, we got our shout-out on Twitter from Jess Pope Grin Any lurkers out there, come on in & state your boffing order.

In the spirit of celebration, I am also imposing the rule that everywench's first post in here has to be accompanied by a pretty Musketeers pic. Don't let me down now mis wenchitas.

Do you have a fabulous moustache badders? Grin

I believe politicians these days lack facial hair.

LetUsPrey · 26/06/2015 17:48

Evening wenches.

Not a fan of the school fayres myself. DH doesn't mind them so off he goes if he can Grin. I know they're important though for the school which is why I selflessly ensure that DH goes.

DC were fairly straightforward. Each one took a while to conceive. DS1 was an induction and hours of "one more push". DS2 was eight days late. Mostly BF DS1 with occasional bottles. DS2 wouldn't tolerate a bottle in any shape or form whether it contained formula or breastmilk.

Am off out tonight with BestFriend.

Baddz · 26/06/2015 18:00

I don't, mouse, no.
But I am very hairy almost everywhere else!
toes like a hobbit

chaiselounger · 26/06/2015 18:12

Like LetUs not a fan of school fayres. Ours is tomorrow.

I am off out in a bit. To a Musketteer Evening. Hosted as usual by my lovely friend across the road.
Is it all right with you lot that I make her an honorary wench?
She was desperate to go to Prague. She has suggested a second Prague visit in November.

MiladyBeaWinter · 26/06/2015 18:24

I really like a school fayre / event Blush. But it's a very small village so everyone knows everyone and the person on the bottle stall is probably who you were singing down the pub with drunk 3 nights ago. Even DH, who is a total social recluse, enjoys them when he is bullied persuaded to go.

It's also quite wenchy rather than pearl clutchy. We're planning a cocktails and Magic Mike evening in a couple of weeks. That's not technically an official school or village hall event though Wink.

If wenches ruled the country it would be a far better totalitarian place.

Have a lovely evening Obs. And a return Prague trip is vair sensible.

Baddz · 26/06/2015 18:29

Ah yes, the Prague trip.
Which you have arranged for when I am on holiday bitter

LetUsPrey · 26/06/2015 18:33

I'll be in a fancy hotel room with Paella by then

LetUsPrey · 26/06/2015 18:34

Enjoy your evening Chaise

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/06/2015 18:35

What is magic mike mrsb?

I want to go to ds sports day next week, but not sure how to get time off work, seeing as Ive taken today off with massive migraine and probably fucked up majorworktrip next week in the process.

elk can you remember any more details about that case? Interested cos Im surprised tbh. I dont remember any weirdness about bf ds in public and like I say he was nearly 2 when I stopped. Ime people are absolutely lovely to kids in spain, its a very child friendly place, much more so than uk in many ways. Just that institutions (school, pre/post natal care) are sadly backward and old fashioned.

Parps to all wenches for motherhood / non motherhood stories today. Like us, each one is lovely and unique.

Baddz · 26/06/2015 18:36

It's my b day in October....

FancyFancy · 26/06/2015 18:40

It's definitely a compliment mouse

chaiselounger · 26/06/2015 18:48

Thanks fancy. My brother was NOT impressed.

FancyFancy · 26/06/2015 18:50

But was the other guy hot chaise? Wink

AnneOfAramis · 26/06/2015 19:00

Mouse - I don't know why you don't look into joining a party - you would most definitely be ace. Or simply a social activist so you can support whoever is doing the best.

Just been to a book shop to buy a diary. Struggling with electronic. Just bought two books - one on hard back that is the second to a book I haven't actually read. They had signed copies of my favourite writers book - but Twitter told me he will be at a particular bookshop next week so obviously I need it signed in his actual presence .

On a bus so ... Shooting armpit Aramis it is ..

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/06/2015 19:02

I said hello to gaz from supergrass at a festival in Spain but was shy so pretended to be spanish #lamestfestivalstoryever

Enormouse · 26/06/2015 19:14

Funny you should say that anne but I joined alliance after the general election. I was a bit disillusioned with things here and thought they would be the best party for effecting some change and liberalism.

Aaw madame that's a cute story

Have a lovely evening chaise. Your friend does indeed sound like a wench.

chaiselounger · 26/06/2015 19:20

Thank mouse.
I doubt she had time to join this thread.
But she is is a truly committed Aramis fan. And has Invited me on innumerable musketeer evenings, like tonight.
I think that's enough to be an honorary wench!
And whilst being very prim: partner of law firm, parent governor, she is also a dirty little minx. Should fit right in!

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/06/2015 19:55

Truly committted aramis fan eh? Could be good chaise... cant you persuade her to join in here a bit? We wont mind if its not very frequent...

MiladyBeaWinter · 26/06/2015 20:28
is Magic Mike Madame.

I'd like to pretend it's a well acted rounded storyline but it's not. It's utter objectification. Sorry not sorry Grin

BloodyElkFire · 26/06/2015 21:02

Madame this is the story I was thinking of. I didn't have my facts quite straight.

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/06/2015 21:04

That looks great mrsb erm I mean the script looks really funny and it looks really er well acted and stuff.

Enormouse · 26/06/2015 21:06

Isn't there a sequel to magic mike?

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/06/2015 21:13

elk that sounds sadly typical of ignorant spanish bureaucrats acting like arrogant twats on the basis of 30 year old knowledge and practice. Poor woman.

In spain maternity leave is just 4.5 months. So god knows how they think they are enabling mothers who are able to do the internationally recommended 6 months of bf.

Baddz · 26/06/2015 21:16

I watched 50 shades earlier...dire
