So, we have passed our 100,000 posts of Musketeer-related musings & as befits such an achievement, we got our shout-out on Twitter from Jess Pope Grin Any lurkers out there, come on in & state your boffing order.

In the spirit of celebration, I am also imposing the rule that everywench's first post in here has to be accompanied by a pretty Musketeers pic. Don't let me down now mis wenchitas.

Do you think Im crap in the heat because I don't feel the cold much? So I'm geared for keeping warm and feeling like I'm alive when it's cold?
You know how SAD affects people, its like the reverse innit.
Hmmmmm.

FancyFancy · 30/06/2015 08:35

Morning, will be absent for most of the day again as have friend staying.

norah, I'm not good in the heat, but even worse in the cold with my hands regularly going blue. I seem to have a narrow band of acceptable temperature. Grin

madame - sympathies on the 'poo etc.' talk. The only thing that worked on mine was to turn it back on them & go on about how much they must love poo as they talked about it so much. They particularly disliked me saying they loved poo so much I was sure they were going to marry poos and have lots of little 'poo' children . This tactic is obv no good in polite company, but it did get to the point where me saying 'Oh look, you still love....' would get me shut down by shouts of 'no mum, stop it' Grin. And then they'd find something else to talk about.

Would it be rude of me to ignore my friend & spend the day listening to Santi introduce himself again & again? Fuck me that's hot

Hi all

Sorry to just drop in not having rtft and been absent from tavern for many months (barred for fighting? Kidnapped by slavers masquerading as dc?)

Love the weather but not too impressed about going to work in it as have to wear either trousers or tights (and had to be tights as trousers not pressed).

Was watching "through a glass darkly" last night and wanted to ask, when athos says to aramis "get the queen to safety..... And come straight back", do you think he means "we need your help with this one" or "don't shag her again/ waste time cooing over dolphin and give yourself away"?

Or both.

Really enjoyed the aramis derring-do in that episode - the wall scaling was excellent.

Sorry no pics as don't know how.

FancyFancy · 30/06/2015 08:50

Hi morelike

I always assumed it was the 'don't stop for a shag' option as it was accompanied by an Athos snarky look. Aramis was damned hot in that ep wasn't he?

morelikeguidelines · 30/06/2015 08:53

Damned hot. Indeed .

That is compelling evidence.

I quite like him when he looks a bit shifty, for instance when he looks over daisy's shoulder towards the queen.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/06/2015 09:05

Lovely new pic of Tom. I do hope his trousers is tighter this season Wink

Hi MLG Smile

Lots of hugs and Cake for my wifey Flowers

Cinnamoncookie · 30/06/2015 09:48

Um, why are you saying I've got a beard, Norah ? . I know I've been working with a lot of actors with amusing facial hair recently, but so far as I know, it's not catching Grin

AnneOfAramis · 30/06/2015 10:19

Daisy. Hahahaha.

I am still reeling from last nights shenanigans both Aramis and Hot lecturer with cool name. Not sure how I will get through today to be honest. My brain has left the building.

MoreLike / it was definitely a don't faff about with Queenie and dolphin.

Sticking to the rules with a pic and a shifty pic to welcome morelike back.

Morning

take care of yourself wench.

norah I hate heat too. I just don't do it very well and its impossible for me to look good in it.

mlg I like your analysis. I interpreted it as 'resist the urge to shag'

Mr M bought me a cup of tea in bed which was lovely. Unfortunately, the boys really wanted to say good morning too Hmm and bring up the post. So it wasn't really a relaxing wake up with tea drinking, more being jumped on by enthusiastic toddlers.

Cinnamoncookie · 30/06/2015 10:51

Herewith the promised debrief of the foreigncountrytour. Or at least as I am willing to say in a public forum without totally outing myself.

'Twas much fun. Anne and Fancy saw the show in the UK, it had some good performances. In EuropeanCountry the audiences are much less restrained than in the UK - at each performance they cheered, whooped, whistled, stamped, laughed at the amusing language jokes a lot more than the UK audiences did, and generally took us to their hearts. In the UK we had a single choreographed curtain call to music - come out in formation, bows, exit, everybody go home. The director had warned us that it would be different, and we had between 2 and 4 callbacks (ie, come out on stage, bow x3, go off again, repeat) at every performance. I had to 'read' the audience and decide whether the actors went back on or not, and that was fun and exciting for me.

Travel was interesting, we narrowly avoided grief with the Calais ferry strike, and had some fun with confusion over ports on the way back. Hotel was lovely, breakfast buffet fabulous.

Enormouse · 30/06/2015 11:24

cinn sounds like you had a great time and were loved by your audience. And debauchery? I was expecting lots of risque antics and nudity and drunkenness.

Urgh the stress of the last few days has brought on the blob about a week early. That explains the needing chocolate last night and wanting to kill Mr M for giving off too much heat and breathing in a completely inappropriate way.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 30/06/2015 11:53

Morning wenches Brew

^^ I don't think we have met as I was away from the Tav for a while. Are you Team Aramis? Smile

FolknNorah · 30/06/2015 12:43

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ooo cin that's sounds like a great success although am with mouse wrt lack of drunkun debauchery.

Lyndie · 30/06/2015 12:48

Hola wenchitos. I'm on holiday so I'm not supposed to be here but greetings from the poolside anyway.

for Badders Thanks

Your tour sounded great Cin very exciting!!

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the heat if you've got it.

FolknNorah · 30/06/2015 13:07

NO LYNDIE I AM NOT ENJOYING IT ONE BIT.

Hope you're having a lovely time? Lovely to see wenching stops for nothing.
Nothing.

morelikeguidelines · 30/06/2015 13:20

Hi everyone

Hi Livia. I have seen you on here before as I think you are team cardinal? (do we call you the red guard? Or the richelette?). I was around alot while the programme was on, and found myself in the cauldron of shame for pirating episode 10.

Yes, I am team aramis (quickly obvious I imagine). I do have plenty of time for athos at his most commanding and the sweetie that is porthos though.

Thanks norah - all is fine with me. Just been very busy with work and dcs. How are things with you?

Any exciting news from the tavern?

morelikeguidelines · 30/06/2015 13:27

Ps thanks for the shifty pic Anne

That is the moment.

The thing with aramis (for me) is the eyes.

Enormouse · 30/06/2015 14:07

We are as one Norah.

Greetings to you too lyndie. I have a pool too, a paddling pool with minions on it. So nerrr. Only joking, have fun.

I like MLGs equal opportunity approach to the musketeers. And agree about the eyes. I think his sex appeal is all about the eyes.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/06/2015 14:33

I don't handle the heath well either. It's was a bit cloudy and chilly here earlier but the bloody sun has come out now Angry

Enormouse · 30/06/2015 14:58

It took me a while to figure out ww meant heat Blush. I genuinely thought she was going around the moors and heaths looking for her lost lover in a floaty negligee, whilst complaining how much she hated the heaths.

Oh ffs. I might have had my most embarrassing moment to date. I have a spot inside my ear and have made a cup of hot water to steam the bastard thing to a head. It is also bin day, toddlermouses favourite day of the week and he has opened the curtains as wide as they'll go so he can watch the lorry.

Of course, the lorry parked up whilst I was holding the cup to my ear. Cue 2 very bemused looking bin men watching me. I must have looked like I was trying to listen to what my tea was saying.

FML. I'm going to be forever known 'loopy woman from number 37 (not my actual house number) who talks to cups'.

I need to move.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 30/06/2015 15:07

I laughed out loud to your post Mouse, both about the heath/heat and your cup listening Grin

Of course I meant heat, I thought it looked a bit wrong Grin

morelike I think it was all of the above, afterall he expresses a lot with a little Wink

Has everyone heard about John Noakes? He has Alzheimer's and this morning went missing from his home in Majorca Sad

Right off to check out that video (finally)

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 30/06/2015 16:15

Is boiling here, can barely move. Have bought a ready cooked chicken for dinner so that I don't have to turn the oven on.

Baddz big hugs lovely xxxx Cake

Mouse Haha Grin Think I stumbled across a story by you this morning elsewhere on the web. Very good.

Cinn that sounds brilliant, how great that it was so well received.

Grandma's house finally sold, so that saga is hopefully drawing to a close. Fucking horrible year.

Enormouse · 30/06/2015 16:37

I think I'll just become a recluse of a Tuesday from now on. That's a bit less extreme than moving out. But then the bin men do moonlight as maintenance types for the rest of the week. Fuck it, I'm moving.

issy I didn't know about that. How awful for his wife and family

alibabs intriguing. Give me some hints and I can confirm whether or not it's me. Or pm me a link?
Good news about your grandma's house Flowers

Hope badders is doing ok. Thinking of you Flowers

IssyStark · 30/06/2015 16:43

Oh, and I'm supposed to be making jam this evening - not my best plan in this heat...
