Report her. Noone has the right to intimidate you like that. Hope you and the girls are OK YG.

SherlockLGJ · 10/11/2006 20:49

I wouldn't ring them tonight, they will be up to there eyeballs in drunks and vomit.

Maybe you could pop in to your local station tomorrow afternoon.

I'd report it - get it off your chest!

southeastastra · 10/11/2006 20:50

i'd just leave it they sound like oddballs

tissy · 10/11/2006 20:51

Report it,so the incident is logged, but be prepared for the police not to swing into action in a very forceful way.

Sorry you've had to go through this, YG. It's pretty much impossible to get a 2 year old to sit still, and clearly the younger of the women wasn't a mother, or she would know that.

Beauregard · 10/11/2006 20:52

Oh poor you Yorkie
Do report it ,she sounds a nasty piece of work

HuwEdwards · 10/11/2006 20:52

YG - I saw this show - it's a kids show fgs - report her - I would have done, had it happened to me.

tissy · 10/11/2006 20:53

Very jealous, btw, wanted to take dd to Disney on Ice in Glasgow, but left it too late and couldn't get two seats together in the whole Arena!

Carmenere · 10/11/2006 20:53

I would report her and I would say to them that although you recognise that this is not a huge crime that you felt that she was unhinged and you were genuinely worried for your families safety and that you want a complaint registered against her incase she does this (or worse) habitually.
She sounds like a scary freak to me and I'm not sure I what I would have done in your situation, poor you.

nannyme · 10/11/2006 20:55

If I was trying to be on my best non-melodramatic behaviour and one of those calm rational people who don't make a fuss about anything I'd say leave it.

However, my mind is such that it runs away thinking of other situations where this woman could cause a very unpleasant (like yours, but even MORE unpleasant, ykwim!) situation for somebody else who may feel even more intimidated than you did (poor you, bitch her).

Also, because I can always see every possible outcome and scenario I am starting to think maybe she is a bit unhinged and needs either help or to learn a lesson before she does something REALLY bad due to her weird and irrational behaviour.

I say call them. You feel better (but you may also feel a twat on reflection???) she gets a well-deserved fright and your daughter feels 'protected' because of a sense that there is something that can be done.

zephyrcat · 10/11/2006 21:00

Yorkie sorry to see you've had to deal with such completely nasty and awful idiots

If it were me I'd be tempted to write a letter to the arena/where the show was and explain your seat numbers and what these people did. Say that while you are aware that it isn't the arena's issue as such, they must have their name/address from the seat numbers and that you are considering reporting it. They may well help you out and/or contact the people and give them a bit of a telling off.

Sheraz · 10/11/2006 21:55

What a cow! Not sure poice would o much, but might be worth contacting show organisers/ People are so rude and impatient. they sound really hrrible.

tortoiseshell · 10/11/2006 21:59

You could phone them to make a complaint without them having to follow it up at all - they would just log it then, in case there are further complaints. What a horrible thing to happen. Hope Disney on Ice was fab though.

fairyfly · 10/11/2006 22:08

Infurating nasty fucked up horrid witch.

I think you have done incredibly well not to panic and run to the police station. Situations like that make me nearly wet my pants.

curlysmum · 10/11/2006 22:26

Oh thats terrible ! what is wrong with people ,I think I would report her if she took the time to follow you and drive round to you she must be somewhat unhinged, why would a women of that age frighten a mother with two little girls .
I took my dd to Disney at Wembley the other week and there was quite alot of very odd people at it without children , drinking and shouting which I remember thinking was was pretty odd , hope your girls enjoyed the show though apart from the nasty lady incident.

shhhh · 10/11/2006 22:42

I would report her. FFS she must have "mental" issues if she harasses you even aftre the show has ended..thats bizarre behaviour.

I would feel the same as you in that situation. What a shame its made such a bad thing of your special night out with the girls . Silly & stupid wicked witch..

What were they doing there anyway..?? Sorry to sound a bit ageist BUUUTTTTT..... surely its for kids.? Yeah I would love to go but wouldn't dare go alone or with my mother..?? I'm 27 btw and would only attend something like that with dd..!!

Jimjams2 · 10/11/2006 22:58

She sounds a nutter. Report it so it gets logged.

misdee · 10/11/2006 23:02

i'd report them, for the simple fact, that the next person she chooses to do this to may actually lamp her one. maybe a visit from the police will make her think next time.

stupid cow. her, not you.

helenhismadwife · 10/11/2006 23:32

report the old bag!!!!

She sounds like a real bully often with people like that its not the first time they have done something like that.

tell the police you were scared and felt threatened and intimidated.

I would also report the incident to the shows organisers

fussymummy · 10/11/2006 23:54

Report her, definately.

She sounds like a sicko to me.

Who in their right mind would wait for someone, over something so petty.

No way should she get away with it.

Good on you for getting car reg.

Were there any cctv in the car park that may have picked up her actions????

zippy34 · 11/11/2006 00:23

Definitely report her. My friend's dad did this to someone (much to my friend's horror ). The woman reported him and the police came round and really put the fear into him although no charges were brought.

She shouldn't be allowed to get away with intimidating people. I'm so sorry she scared you like this.

jinglybits · 11/11/2006 00:28

report it.i hate hate hate the fact that vile ill mannered people (who inexplicably go through life thinking they are virtuous!) can get away with there behaviour. she yelled at your child, a 2year old, how intimidating is that. she verbally abused you in the street. don't ring the police, they'll be busy tonight but i would definately pop into the station, you never know they may make her condsider her behaviour or at least they may file it somewhere so if someone else complains about her it will aid that. She'll only do it to someone else. people shouldn't just be allowed to get away with rude obnoxious behaviour or launch a torade of abuse at you and your small children. gosh, what a bad end to an evening for you xx.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 11/11/2006 00:38

Report it.

Saturn74 · 11/11/2006 00:40

What a shame your trip was spoilt by this rude and aggressive woman.

I would report the incident to the police, just so it is on record.

I hope you and your DDs weren't too shaken up by this.
