I know this is odd but I just don't like mint and chocolate together!!

Best ice cream is St Andrews obviously and amaretto or bakewell tart.

Can I clarify - it's not the spend, it's the fact that I will then have 4 tubs of ice-cream in my freezer. Which is not a usual occurrence & can therefore only end badly.

We just had a family rewatch of S1 E1. It appears this is our thing. I giggled a number of times

a. Because it was funny
b. Because certain bits reminded me of the Tavern

We also had an in depth family discussion on who the new villain might be and I told everyone we would find out in a fortnight. No one batted an eyelid that I knew this.

I agree about instinct Madame. I get a really bad vibe from him no matter what he says.

Best ice-cream eve was home-made blackcurrant from Bolton Abbey though Ronaldo's is pretty good too. Classic Magnums are yum, and white chocolate ones are ok.

They have lemon cheesecake too, it's divine. And it's not crappy bits of soggy biscuit through it, it's a WHOLE real cheesecake mashed into the ice cream.

What's wrong with white chocolate Magnums? The white chocolate obv. The devil eats white chocolate and washes it down with coffee. Bleurrghh. I don't mind white chocolate magnums or white chocolate generally, but I prefer milk or dark chocolate.

My family all seemed to exchange the same dark chocolate easter egg (the only one any of us could find) this year.

Oh - I kept trying to post earlier about which musketeer would go best with which ice cream flavour for ice cream au musketeer. Phone wouldn't post.

Brief summary:

Porthos - raspberry ripple or cherry because he is sweet.
Dog - Vanilla (obvs)
Aramis- Coffee (hides from fancy) because he is subtle, intriguing and oh so very nice. Or if not coffee then 99 % chocolate flavour.

Athos - lemon sorbet because he is bitter (hides from team athos)

By the way, I was just explaining to Helen, in a PM, that whilst I'm talking about ice cream, the school meeting I had today was the most awful meeting - one of the worst.
