Having just watched the end of the Channel 4 best albums of all time, dh and I were discussing how upsetting we find it if someone we love admits to liking U2 and how it devalues them in our eyes TOTALLY irrational I know

Now Jajas... that is NOT irrational.. I would be fuming too.

when people park next to you in a car park, leaving roughly 3 mm between their car door and yours, especially when theres clearly a car seat on the same side!

People who inherit masses of money because of their parents' investment in property.
The man next door who is renovating his house...taptaptaptaptaptaptap

People who pierce the ears of young babies and toddlers.
People whose young sons wear an earring in one ear.
People who give babies "juice" to drink from a bottle.
People who let their children stand up in supermarket trolleys.
People who push around a dummy- or bottle-sucking child aged 3 or older in a pushchair.
People who have no idea about how to use an apostrophe.
People who play golf.
People who seem to imagine the fact that they have never read a book is actually something to boast about.
People using disabled spaces who are not disabled.
People using "parent and child" spaces who are neither disabled, nor do they have a baby or small child.
People who call an "espresso" an "eXpresso".
I could go on...

people who go to standup comedians and shout smartarse comments thinking they are funnier than the 'turn'

why?

People who buy burgers etc from those hot food vans that sit outside B & Q etc. Or hot dogs from stalls in town - bleurgh

people who say "I kid you not"

ANYONE (except my kids) who calls me "mummy"

People who hold their cigarettes at an arms length away from themselves, but don't actually care if they burn anyone else.

LUCYJU - just wondering how many children you have. when you say "people who let children stand in a supermarket trolley" whats your solution? i have 2 small children and the supermarkets round here only have one seat

BTW, have 2 children - one sits in trolley, the other walks (but then , she is 6).

Agree LucyJo - rather a lot of people have been posting things that are perfectly rational IMO.

I have been tempted to put "people who can't differentiate between what is rational and what is irrational".
