Norah - I watched the first season of The Wire. I feel asleep during a lot of it, couldn't understand the 'real' Baltimore accent and it was dark - all of the time.

Well...I still feel pretty rough tbh. No runs since yesterday evening but my back and ribs are very sore (?) I wasn't sick so no idea what that is!
Ds2 seems much better but the 48 hour rule means he won't be back at school til weds :(

I still feel really rough too, and feel sick every now and then, like it's reminding me of how I had to sit on the bog and barf into a bowl because I had the runs as well as the voms. And not to get too excited that I can perhaps eat now..

Sounds like you all got some sort of flu variant. I had proper flu years ago and it floored me, it felt like my spine had been replaced with acid. MrE was in the US at the time and I was trapped in bed, literally not able to move it was so painful. In desperation I phoned my dad and he posted me some paracetamol !

So when MrE informs me he feels a bit fluey - which is quite often, he's always rather disappointed with the degree of sympathy I am able to muster .
