LetUsPrey · 17/11/2014 08:00

Morning wenches. How is everywench? Hope the lurgies are well in the process of fecking off.

Day off today - woohoo! First wash in, got some bits of shopping to do and then the day is mine. Until 3pm anyway.

Have wonderful days wenches

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 17/11/2014 08:29

Good morning. Spotty with huge boobs. I think it's tine to change the pill.

Off to the gym. Well, first off the sofa. Then brekkie. Then get dressed. Then hopefully leave. But my boobs hurt so much I'm not in a mood for pumpibg iron.

Might just read a book and scout for talent Wink Can't waste the 2 hours of creche!

Cinnamoncookie · 17/11/2014 08:29

Morning ladies. Off for a haircut today, very urgently needed as I've been looking like a cut-price Beatle for about a month. Might do a wee bit of shopping as well

MadamedeChevreuse · 17/11/2014 08:29

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 17/11/2014 09:06

Morning all.

drink you're a brave lady .

madame I can recommend Lance, my new vacuum. He's a vax Dyson-a-like upright.

Having to keep toddlermouse off preschool. His tummy's too bad to go in. My depression has reared its ugly head, so Dps working from home to keep things ticking over here. Feeling crappy. Sad

ApricotCrush · 17/11/2014 09:19

Good morning.

Feeling crappy too. Do you get winter depression Mouse, mine's kicking in now. I try to sit by a sunny window as much as I can, but there's no chance of that today.

Going to dentist this afternoon to hopefully sort out toothache.

Have a good day all.

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 09:34

Mouse...Ds off til weds as he had 2 bouts of nasty diahhrea last night.
Ffs.
So...another sofa day.
Sigh.
Had to cancel carpet chap too.
Hi elk!! :)
How you doin?

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 17/11/2014 09:36

That sounds tough apricot. Do you get it roughly at the same times of the year? I've heard that some people really benefit from a light box.

Mines is PND that came on when babymouse was around 6/7 months. It's mostly under control but I'm just on a bit of a downer atm and my ads ran out before the weekend. I was stupid and didn't renew my prescription in time.

Toddlermouse is really fraying my nerves atm. Not his fault, the poor little guy. He's not well and being fairly non verbal I'm finding him harder to manage.

MadamedeChevreuse · 17/11/2014 09:39

Wow. Looks like we're into proper winter blues time now. Hope all illing / feeling down wenches / wenches' dcs feel a bit better soon.

Thanks mouse. Lol at all your named household appliances btw.

MadamedeChevreuse · 17/11/2014 09:41

Aw crap mouse that sounds bad. Flowers Have you got more meds now?

ApricotCrush · 17/11/2014 09:51

It usually comes on after the clocks go back, and starts to improve in February when the days get longer. I haven't tried a light box but I know they do help some people. I could do with hibernating for the winter!

Thanks for Mouse and Bads and any other wench feeling down.

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 09:56

Mouse - I had late onset pnd with my ds1 and it's fucking grim so you have my sincere sympathies x
Ds2 and I are watching Charlie and Lola and having a pj day.
And yes...it's soooo much harder when they are so small and non verbal.
I found it hugely hugely stressful trying to guess what was wrong all the time.

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter · 17/11/2014 10:07

FlowersFlowersBrewCake for down and ill wenches. I wish it would get cold and crisp and brighten up some. The damp foggy rain is a real Sad.

DH off work today. DD sent in but she may end up back home. Coughing a bit but no temp yet. Mrs B's rule is no temp = fine for school. Feeling a bit harsh but she is a drama queen at times.

FolknNorah · 17/11/2014 10:11

Morning all! Here is Christmas corner, ready to be snuggled in front of.

I'm the opposite, I find long days and the heat depressing! Odd I know... Poor yous twos.

I'm REWATCHING today, if anyone wants to join in. I'm thinking tonight, 8 or later but am flexible and willing to accommodate other wenches because that way it's more fun innit?

I'm not sending The Toddler in to nursery today either, he's just not quite right and experience has taught me it's better to keep them off at this time of year otherwise it's a never ending winter if illnesses.

Sorry teacher wenches! Blush

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 10:15

I'm the same mrsb...unless they have bodily fluids being forcefully ejected or a temp they go in.
Ds2 seems a bit off still.
His trumps are truly disgusting Envy < sick face

FolknNorah · 17/11/2014 10:19

Despite my previous post, I too am like this. All my kids hate me. it's just nursery and reception age as I've had kids off for weeks at this time of year, going in, getting sent home, going in, getting sent home.....
plus I can't be arsed

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 17/11/2014 10:20

Thanks guys. I know I'll pick up once the ads kick in. Smile. I'm upstairs in bed whilst Dp child wrangles.

Toddlers nappies are vile atm .

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 10:22

You know him best Norah....if he's not right he shouldn't go in.
You just know sometimes, don't you?

I'm with norah about summer though. I don't do heat and brightness. My ezcema flares up and I get itchy and cross.
I like cold weather and jumpers and stodgy food. And a nice fire and hot drinks

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 10:27

Love autumn and winter - except for the puking and snog obv

Badvocinapeartree · 17/11/2014 10:27

Snog!?
SNOT

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 17/11/2014 10:39

Puking and snog would be horrible Smile.
