helsi, my dad spends hours each day on the family tree. He has so much material it take sover a whole room in his house.

When I met the people who ran the site they were really escited to have found out who the model was and apparently there are the original drawings and sculptings on show over in Canada

Beety, If you saw the scupture in RL would you be able to recognise your Grandma from it?

I mean if you didn't know it was her....is the scupture a good resemblence(sp) IYSWIM

My grandfather made a beautiful wooden pulpit in an historic church in South Africa ... but not quite the same value as your grandma

LTH, the wonderful thing is, is that I look very like her. I have a photo of myself next to the statue and the similarities are amazing. Even the shape of our breasts!
