What have you done today and what are you doing later?

For me:

8am to about 2pm - worked (at home)
2pm to 5pm - out with kids swimming and having their tea in club
5-5.30 - tidied kitchen, put wash on, emptied dryer (fascinatin!!)
5.30 till now - working again

Soon be putting kids to bed, ordering chinese take away and slobbing out for Daziel and Pascoe wtih my current addiction - mint choc chip cadbury cornetto. TOPTASTIC!

midnight -1am - at wedding reception drinking MUCH to much wine, getting my bottom pinched by drunken colleague right in from of his v jealous wife (idiot man).

1am to 3am - sending silly text messages from my sofa to lovely lad from work 12 years younger than me and So cute that he should find himself someone very special and be happy forever (cringe) oh and going on MN and mistyping loads of silly comments (why oh why?)
3-5 trying to sleep
5am feeding ds (dont worry not bfeeding after red wine!)
5.30-9am - sleep
10-12 - church
12-3 - family stuff, lunch, games, writing hundreds of thank you letters frm dd's 4th birthday presents.
3 - baby asleep, dd watching cinderella dvd and fallen asleep, upstairs with dh for quickie (must still be woozy from night before havent done that in YEARS!)
5-6 - out for McDonalds!
6-7 bath and bedtime for dcs
7 onwards MNet etc
NEXT - drinking chocolate nesquik, eating maltesers (SHOCK) and watching silly tv.

An unusual day for me - first proper big night out since ds was born 4 months ago so went a bit silly. Still we're all happy!

so lazy today (had a bad week)
8am-3pm watch tv in bed, dh brought me cooked breakfast in bed
3.00 had a bath
3.30 bathed children
4.00 put washing in/brushed floors
4.30 went to see my dad
6.00 went to see my sister
6.40 went to see an old aunt in care home
7.15 made tea
7.35 turned on mumsnet
8.00 sewing names on boys uniforms for tomo

Up at 7.30 and viewed new hamster
Hung out with the kids/ reading papers/ listening to Radio 4
10.00 kids down the road to play with neighbours for an hour or so
had a bath
Made soup
Kids home, played subbuteo
Had lunch
More subbuteo
Wellies on and yomp in the woods in drizzle
Came home - abortive attemopt to get hamster out (total = two bites and one hamster roaming living room until recaptured)
Made supper while dd and ds did lego
Ate supper together
Bath and bed.

Am looking foward to tackling huge ironing pile at 8 while watching west wing repeats.

up at 6am with ds and dd (dh's turn for a lie-in today), wrapped some presents, did some colouring, had breakfast.
10.30am-about 4pm took Sunday papers, picnic and coffee and walked up to our loca children's farm. kids played in sandpit for an hour while we blisfully read papers, then saw animals and played in fab playgrounds up there
4pm-5.30pm played in garden, hung out washing while dh cooked supper
5.30pm-6.30 had supper then watched bit of kids' TV
6.30-7.00 bath (I went in with kids too)
dh put ds to bed at 7pm, I read dd 6 stories and put her light out at 7.30 but she's still mooching around her room (can hear padding).

now MN with an Options hot choc and Kitkat, then will call my mum and dad, watch Lost again and intermittently read book.

how come these kind of threads make such cosy reading?

Woke up with a hangover slept till 12:20
Had a bath
Read a book
My Dad brought boys back @2ish
Played with boys
Watching TV with them now,letting them stay up late one last time,they have no school tomorrow(training day).
As you may guess DH and I had a night out together last night.

DD woke up around 7ish. Go tup about half hour later. Gingernear had stayed over - had a drink and then she left early on. DH did the ironing whilst I sorted out the online supermarket shop. He then took DD to the park whilst I tidied up and had a shower. We popped out to Waitrose. At 3ish my parents called round to bring a present for DD (starting school next week) and we all had pizza, followed by apple crumble, for dinner. DH and DD are currently playing Guess Who, then she will be up to bed in 10 minutes.

No more plans for today.

7.20am - got up with DD2 and DS3
8.00am - breakfast
10.00am - woke up DH who was grumpy , sorry tmi but he has a spot on the inside of his thigh which has infected and he is now on antibiotics. I wouldn't mind but he is walking around looking like hes shat himself and he keeps huffing and puffing

Lazed about all day with kids, colouring, tele, jigsaws etc.

3.30pm - we all went to shops, DD2 fell over and has ripped 1/2 her finger nail off , after rushing back, cleaning it and plaster on, she then went into shock and fell asleep for an hour cuddled up to DH . Seems to be ok now though.

7.30pm - put kids to bed

Now our dinner is in the oven and having a large glass of red DH in bath (still grumpy )

Moondog, I think it is with the pot barley. Maybe you have the pearl barley? I am not sure.

Early morning, looked after 9 month old ds whilst dp took 3 year old dd swimming.

Late morning/afternoon - went to Knowsley Safari park.

Late afternoon/early evening - went to in laws for tea.

Late evening - mumsnetting and drinking gin and slimline tonic.

Bloody barley water (wot is that all about?)

Pah,am confused.

Got up late at about 10.15, church at 11. Bummed around the house all afternoon, cleaned my kitchen and bathroom. Went to the pub for dinner with dp and some mates. Rang my mum. Thrillsville.

DP worked 9.30-5 today so spent most of the day on my own.

Chit chat with my mum and brother who both popped in

Trip to B&Q
Stood around in the garden watching Dp block all of the dogs escape routes.
Went out for a pub tea
Sat in garden watching the kids try and walk the dog
Sat on here

Stayed in as too hot to go out and then this evening took dd to a marine park. Now waffling on about all the food I miss and am going to buy when I go to Gibraltar on Monday!

Shall try.Never done it before.
I like them stewed with yoghurt too.

browsed MN for an hour,

got dressed,
layed down with a book and nearly fell asleep,
tidyed the kitchen,
More MN inbetween,
got kids swimming stuff ready,
started dinner, more MN
Ate dinner,
channel hopped,
took the kids swimming,
first drive without L plates,
came home,
cleaned the rats out,
had a vodka,
got hungry went up the road for a burger and chips,
sat on MN again.
Tommorow I will get my finger out and get organisd for school starting again.
