I hope to goodness I don't offend anyone but the other thread got me thinking of funny names I've come across and wonder if you've got any corkers to share.

The ones I can remember off the top of my head are:
Rose Bush (a lifeguard at my ex-local pool)
Dr. Nurse
Barry Raspberry (both doctors I worked with)
John Thomas (a patient)
Dickie Fluck (a friend of a friend)

Any more genuine ones?

Phyllis Willis, Charlotte Ruse, John Thomas, Justin Thyme!

I also had a teacher called Miss Virgin! But at Junior School so we were a bit young to give her too much stick!

ooh, Hula, just seen your post ? Miss Virgin was a biology teacher at my school. Her first name was Brenda which somehow made it even funnier. Brave career choice...

What about Randy Neighbours - an American I had contact with through work. Texan - nobody there thought it was funny.

Some of these are really funny, but what I don't understand is why would any loving parent set their precious child up for a life of ridicule???

Used to work in a hospital where there was an elderly patient called Airey Muff. Also used to know an Iona Pile. Piece de resistance was my mum's schoolfriend, Honour Kermode.
I have a surname that is embarrassing as I'm the opposite of it, so know what its like to live with constant jibes. But just because I live in a glasshouse I still like chucking stones!

In DH's last job he had to phone the Franfurt office regularly, and they all answered their phones by bellowing out their surname. The the person he had to phone the most? Frau Kuntz.

Also used to deal with an American company through my work called Ed Case Associates.
