I'm pg again

OMG, I'm shaking. I had a mc 6 weeks ago today. I've had a 'feeling' for about a week now (strange tiredness) but I've waited to test - and actually I wanted to wait a bit longer - but I thought, what the heck, and just tested now - the line came up immediately and is beautiful and strong - very unlike the tests with both my mcs. No idea how far along I am, could be up to 6 weeks, I suppose.
OMG OMG.

Just seen this!!!!!

Oh, FIT, what amazing news. I have a really good feeling about this

What an emotional rollercoaster you have been on lately. I hope you are getting plenty of rest and being very kind to yourself. xxx

Bugsy2 · 24/08/2006 10:56

How exciting. Great news FIT. Glad all went well with the gyn today. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

SKYTVADICT · 24/08/2006 11:01

Congrats FIT.

I had a BPF yesterday too after previous mc in April so know what must be going through your head.

All best wishes for a great pregnancy - I have tentatively joined the due in May 2007 thread - seems unreal at the mo though.

Just got back to this now.

Oh Greeny you saying you have a good feeling means so much to me.

When I was 24 weeks with ds and still pretty terrified something would go wrong, ds's now godfather said the same to me (that he had a good feeling about it) - and all was fine

So I feel a bit less scared now

Great news FIT - lots of love and good vibes for you xxx

Have emailed you, but just read what you wrote about whether you should have waited and wanted to reassure you. I was told that they only tell you to wait till you've had one period after m/c because it makes it easier to date the subsequent pregnancy. There are no physical reasons for waiting, just makes the doctor's paperwork neater (FGS!). You are going to be fine. Keep thinking of that lovely strong +ve line.

Thanks for the reassurance Ellbell - and for your emails.
I'll write back once I've got through 5 hours of invigilation tomorrow (yes 5 ) and then the first sheaf of papers!
