I'm pg again

OMG, I'm shaking. I had a mc 6 weeks ago today. I've had a 'feeling' for about a week now (strange tiredness) but I've waited to test - and actually I wanted to wait a bit longer - but I thought, what the heck, and just tested now - the line came up immediately and is beautiful and strong - very unlike the tests with both my mcs. No idea how far along I am, could be up to 6 weeks, I suppose.

Thanks Marina. I know exactly what you mean about loss of innocence - I feel like I've lost it a second time somehow, as after my successful pg with ds I didn't think mc would happen to me again - and I've got silly thoughts going through my head, i.e. if I lose this one too will it be my fault for not waiting? We weren't even trying really, we just started having sex again because physically I'd recovered so well and it seemed ludicrous to use contraception.
Fortunately my gyn is absolutely fab and a great believer in reassurance scans

Morning! Thanks everyone!
I've been to the gyn and have a clear little round sac on internal scan. Nothing else to be seen yet, which probably means (if all is indeed well) that I'm around 4/5 weeks. I was kind of hoping to be 6 weeks already and be able to see a heartbeat, but after the mc that would have been pretty amazing, I suppose. I'm going back on 19th Sept and it's a waiting game until then.

oh, many congratulations, FIT! I read your thread at the time of your mc and really felt for you. I had a mc in March but then conceived again within 4 weeks (like you I couldn't see the point of using contraception when I so desperately wanted to be pg). I am now 23 weeks and I am relieved to say the fear has subsided (since I had the 20 week scan) and I am able to relax and enjoy it.
I have heard that sometimes it can be easyish to conceive after a mc as your hormone levels are already high and your body is more receptive. Who knows.
