Does anyone know where one might purchase a property for no more than £260k in a nice part of West London / Surrey ..........? I guess no-where but thought I'd ask anyway - just in case!!!

You would certainly get something in the croydon area but whenever I post something like this on property threads everyone always says how terrible croydon is (sigh)
Which it isn't, some parts are quite nice and most are 25 mins or less from central london

You could make that comment about London generally - bits of it are terrible bits of it are nice and the difference is often on one street!

So which bits of Croydon are nice then - hear thornton heath is nice?

I think Croydon just has that reputation , don't think people actually know it at all normally

you could prob get something for this price range in Cheam/Chertsey/Woking etc.
West Byfleet is nice
