lease could someone give me advice about how to find out information of a friends suspected death in Thailand.

One of my boyfriends very close friends has been living in Ko samui for a few years. My boyfriend is his point of contact as this man is not in touch with his family anymore. It has been brought to his attention without much information that he has been found dead in a room there.

We really need to find out information about this as it is all of our responsibilities to sort things out if something has happened.

Who do we contact for more information?

Thanks, boyfriend has heard from him by letter a few months ago and was there in december so if your friend was there a year ago it robably was a bit too far back. I'm just thinking he could have heard a story back here, who knows, thanks again.

Ok, we have had it confirmed, he was found and he had choked on his own vomit. The authorities are keeping him for an autopsy. It happened on sunday morning and is all unfolding as we speak. Someone has traced his mother and she has been informed, it is now down to her if she wants the body home.
Nothing more we can do everything is following the right channels, We have rang a thai bar and not much information was wanted to be be shared,nobody wanted to say much. it is all very dodgy. he was last seen with a new job having a laugh and a drink.

All his mates are meeting up on friday to get incredibly drunk.

Thanks for all who offered help but nothing needs to be done, infact it would probably be best if his name wasn't mentioned in Ko Samui until we find out whats been going on.

A bit more about what happened but still don't really know, the general thought in everyones head is that he has been murdered but that is a huge word to be throwing about.

At least we now know we don't need to do anything for the time being.

so sorry FF but at least you know now one way or hte other and there was clearly nothing your dp could have done to change things - he already tried his best a few months ago when he was out there
