What colour eyes do your kids have?

I have blue.
DP has brown.
DD1 has blue.
DD2 has grey/green.

do you really care?

Me- Dark brown
H- Brown, but not as dark as mine
DS1- Dark brown eyes
DS2-Dark brown eyes

I don't generally but when people ask if they are my children, in a rather doubting way, or ask/assume I am the nanny etc, it does annoy me.

I look nothing like my children and they look nothing like me (although we are all small and slim - hair, eye and skin colour is seen as important - and I am guilty o f that too)

me - brown to golden brown + dark brown hair
dh - clear pale blue + no hair (was blonde)
dd1 - grey green + blonde
dd2 - blue + white hair

Mercy I had fair hair as a child and as I aged it just got darker and darker

Mercy I get that the whole time my children don't look like each other at all, my dh is mixed race and I'm as white as ghost with dark hair and blue eyes my dd is also very light skinned with blue eyes she has a blonde afro and ds has lovely tanned skin with massive brown eyes not much hair at the mo but looks like its going blonde. Apparently I had jet black hair when I was born then it went so blonde it went white and then went dark brown again. Not many children look like cones of their parents thank goodness in my childrens case!
