i'm finding now i'm paranoid about nits and threadworms. if dd sits still for a bit, i use it as an opportunity to have a root through her hair and worry every time i see her scratch her bum. i didn't used to.

perhaps i need to get out more Wink

I agree with PrincessBoris though, mumsnetters make me realise how extremely lucky i am. I appreciate my life and my beautiful children.

I worry about puddytats and her family. And about Misdee and Peter. And about MNers with difficult pregnancies or in crap relationships or struggling with crap parents. :(

madammykidsofmumchester · 30/05/2006 21:03

I have always been very confident in the choices I have made as a parent and I have lovely kids, however my choices often go against the grain on mn and i sometimes worry that i am not the parent I think I am.

I don't worry about nits or threadworms, we've had them both and I spend enough time dealing with the situation, I can't be arsed to worry about it aswell!!!

I worry about individual posters and the problems they have but i also find comfort in the fact that they gain a huge amount of support from some great people.

I worry that not enough people on here care about the World Cup, whats wrong with you all???

I also worry about people I have never met. if I don't see them on here. I was quite concerned about one person(her name is one that sticks in my mind)

EVERYTHING!

CountessDracula · 28/06/2006 17:43

not a lot tbh

I suppose I think more about what I am feeding dd than I might otherwise have. But that is a good thing!

I get cross with all the people getting ickle wickle puppy dogs despite being warned that they take looking after and will bark when you go out, play bite your toddlers etc - then reading a few weeks later that THE DOG MUST GO!

Kathy1972 · 28/06/2006 17:54

I worry about all the people coping with kids with special needs, sick partners etc, who are getting s*d all help from the government and being made to jump through endless hoops to get the help they do.

I also worry about the people who I think worry too much about all the terrible things that might happen to their kids (getting abducted by paedophiles, developing allergies from eating baby rice at 5 and a half months etc) but also I worry that they will report me to social services for not worrying enough

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 28/06/2006 18:16

I worry that people worry too much. It's bad for you.

TwinsetandPearls · 28/06/2006 18:47

Mumsnet used to worry me about my parenting that I didn't play enough with dd, that I fed her too much rubbish, I was not enthusiastic enough about being a mother and for that reason I stopped posting for a while.

Now none of it worries me, and if it did I would take another mumsnet break.
